Chapter 1907

It was Heather who pushed her. Although she disliked trouble or causing a scene, she could not just step away when someone tried to hurt her.

A crowd gathered outside the fountains, trying to have a look at what happened.

Caprice turned away and wanted to get out to a less crowded place, but she spotted Liam there.

He stood in front of the crowd, gazing at her.

The spotlight blinded her. She could only recognize him but was unable to see the expression on his face. She also did not know if he was looking at her or Heather.

She was wretched. She would rather not be seen by him.

She put her hands down and stopped trying to swim out of the fountain. She wanted to sink into the water to avoid embarrassment while trying to sneak away in another direction.

However, before her head could sink below the water, she heard Liam bellowing at her, "Caprice, swim up now!”

"Mhmhh?"

Was he calling her name?

Caprice pouted and filled her mouth with air to remain floating.

Heather, on the other hand, had swam to the side.

Her hair and clothes were stuck on her skin as she looked at Liam with an innocent look from the water.

"It's not me. It's Caprice who dragged me down the water. I don't know why she did that..."

"Oh my gosh. What’s wrong with her? Such poor manners."

"I believe she’s jealous of Ms. Manson. How stupid of her to do it in public."

"Ms. Manson looked terrible. Master Carter, pull her up."

The crowd started to take her side after Heather's explanation.

Caprice did not want to stay in the water, she just wanted to swim to the other, but Liam's gaze was fierce and it robbed the words out of her mind.

Liam then dragged her to the side.

The crowd watched as Liam brought Caprice out of the water. None of them dared to say a word.

Liam carried Caprice by the waist and butt. It made her blush when they got out of the water.

Liam noticed the blush-stained face. His eyes narrowed and asked, "Are you feeling okay?"

Caprice shook her head, shaking water droplets at his face.

Liam was rendered speechless.

"I'm sorry, I..." Caprice nervously tried to wipe the water off his face.

After she wiped the water off his face and wanted to take her hand back, he held her by the wrist.
