Caprice suddenly recalled the previous date she went on with Liam in Carter Tech City.

Her face turned red against her will.

Isabel seemed to sense something, and her eyes glimmered with excitement. "Come on, Caprice, you can tell me."

It was not so much that Caprice was unwilling to share the details with her; it was just too hard for her to talk bout it!

She just happened to feel the urge to use the washroom. She quickly shot up and announced, 'I need to use the washroom."

Isabel made a face and rose with her. ‘TH go with you."

"It's alright, I can go by myself," Caprice said as she walked towards the washroom.

Isabel followed closely behind her. "That wont do. I promised my brother that I was going to keep you safe."

Although most of the attendees of the night were public figures, that did not mean they were all trustworthy gentlemen. Besides, with how glamorously Caprice was dressed, she could fall prey to any of these men any minute.

Caprice did not protest as she quickly paddled into the women's toilet, clenching her dress tightly.

By pure coincidence, she met Heather as soon as she entered.

Heather was wearing an elegant long dress and was coming from the opposite direction with several of her friends. They were all young socialites dressed as fashionably as her. All of them were very beautiful.

Upon noticing Caprice, Heather who was walking at the front of the group suddenly ground to a stop. She was just planning to scope the venue to see if Caprice had shown up. It was certainly a surprise to see her target reveal herself.

Her expression changed vividly. She smiled at Caprice. "Caprice! What a coincidence! I wasn't expecting Liam to bring you here."

Caprice suddenly recalled the dialogue they had last time. Heather was prattling on and on about some sort of dinner party. It was only then that she joined the dots and realized that this was the party Heather was referring to.

She was not in the mood to engage with her since she just wanted to use the washroom. She pressed forward and tried to lap around Heather.

Isabel regarded her viciously. "Why can't I be here if even someone like you is here?"

She swallowed the bile of rage and spoke with iron in her voice, "Isabel, I’m talking to Caprice, so please step aside."

"Ha!" Isabel laughed mockingly.

She did not consider herself to be the pretentious type, but she simply could not stand Heather's bratty attitude any longer. She snapped, "Who do you think you are, Heather Manson? Stop acting so friendly with Caprice!"
