Liz was just as perturbed by the sudden appearance of the man. She recalled the same man being affectionate with Isabella only moments ago. This man seemed like the one she thought to be Isabella's benefactor and was rumored to be the future successor of the Rockwells in Southboro.

Why was he approaching Isabel? In such an affectionate manner, no less!

Liz looked at Isabel.

Isabel snapped at him crossly, "None of your business!"

Liz was stupefied.

Decker's handsome expression darkened immediately.

Isabel was not afraid of him at all. She turned to the two bodyguards following behind her who were only employed this morning.

They dutifully stepped forward and came in between Decker and Isabel.

Isabel warned him icily, "Decker, if you try to harass me again, I will have them beat the life out of you."

With that, she tugged at Liz's hand and took her to the car.

The two bodyguards glared at Decker menacingly and approached the car as well.

Decker stood motionlessly, his complexion as black as his mood. He clenched his jaw and muttered to himself, "Isabel, you just had to choose to do this the hard way, didn’t you?”

Isabel's car quickly drove out of the parking lot.

Liz sat next to Isabel. She was still recovering from the shock of witnessing the interaction Isabel just had with Decker, especially the way she had snapped at him with such vehemence.

She turned to Isabel and could not stop herself from asking, "Isabel, isn't he Decker Rockwell, the one from Southboro?"

'That's him," Isabel said calmly.

Liz shuffled in her seat uncomfortably before remarking, "He looked quite angry just now."

Was Isabel not afraid of upsetting the wrong person? This was her career at stake!

Decker was an elite of the elites. Even most of the bosses she knew personally would have to bow over ninety degrees in front of someone like him.

"I know." Isabel smiled candidly. "Don't worry. He can't do anything to me."

Isabel had a little bit of wine to drink and was in a jovial mood as well.

After she paid the bill, they parted ways. Isabel went back to her car and had the driver send her home.

The driver asked, "Miss, are you going back to your place or to the apartment where we picked you up today?"

Isabel glanced at the two bodyguards in the car with her. With them patrolling the area, Decker would not dare mess with her.

Still, the sheer thought of being in the general vicinity of Decker repulsed her.

With this in mind, she ordered, 'Take me back to the place where you picked me up this morning."

The car picked up speed.

Isabel sat by the window and stared at the view outside.
