Clarice frowned.

Isabel showed a surprised look and said, "So, you're still a virgin after being with Decker for so many years?"

"Isabel, you..." Clarice gritted her teeth and bellowed, "Stop trying to provoke me. Decker and I have been dating for a long time and your little tricks won't affect our relationship."

Isabel found her reaction strange. "I'm just asking. What's with the reaction?"

"You show your neck to me and it is an act of provocation!" Clarice looked at her in disdain. "You’re a mistress, a cheap woman who's trying to ruin our relationship. You might have won now but Decker will never leave me for you!”

Isabel was more confused than ever. She asked, "Clarice, what nonsense are you talking about? Who are you calling a mistress, a cheap woman? You think I'm together with that b*stard Decker?"

Clarice's expression shifted. "What do you mean? You're not with Decker?"

Isabel shuddered the moment she thought of Decker. She said honestly, "I broke up with him when you were engaged with him. Period. I'd never be with him anymore."

Clarice was skeptical. She looked at Isabel’s neck and asked, ‘Then what's with your neck?"

"I said, it's my boyfriend. He did this."

"Who's your boyfriend?"

"Anyone but Decker."

Clarice looked at Isabel, unsure if she was telling the truth.

Then, she pulled her phone out and played the video in front of Isabel.

Isabel saw herself and Decker at the coffee shop earlier in the afternoon.

The video was not that long and it only showed her and Decker. Roland was not included.

Isabel then looked at Clarice. "Who sent it to you?"

Clarice glared at her fiercely. "You don’t need to know who sent it to me. You just need to explain to me what this is. If you already have a boyfriend, why did Decker meet up with you?"

It sounded disgusting with the pretentious tone, but Clarice seemed to like it.

The frostiness on her look was instantly replaced by gentleness. "Decker, are you still in Westchester?"

'Yeah. I still haven't finished my work. I think I'll be staying here for a while."

Clarice remained suspicious. She asked, "What’s that beside you?"

Decker then switched the camera angle and said, "Our photo together. I thought I showed you a few days ago when we video-called. It’s on my desk in the hotel and I’ve never moved it.”

Clarice finally smiled. "Okay. You should rest early. I’m sorry to disturb you."

Decker answered in his deep voice, "I'm happy that you called me, so please don't say you're disturbing me."

Clarice smiled. "I got it."

They said goodbye and the video call ended.
