Decker stared at her. "Isabel, I'm just here to see you, nothing else."

Isabel was not in the mood to talk to him, so she ignored him.

Decker noticed the frosty reaction. He sighed and said, "I know you just broke up with Roland and seem to have lost all your commercial work."

With both love life and career in a slump, she should be devastated.

Just when she thought Isabel would look devastated or break down in tears, Isabel stared at the elevator door coldly and did not respond to his words.

"I'm worried about you." Decker stood in front of her.

Isabel frowned. She was alarmed by the sudden intimacy. " Decker, what are you trying to do?"

He realized Isabel was no longer the simple and helpless girl he picked up on the road five years ago.

She was confident in her beauty and she had gotten smarter.

He could no longer lie to or bluff her.

Embarrassing displeasure flashed from his eyes before he curled his lips. He grinned at Isabel wickedly and said," Isabel, it's not good for a woman to be too smart."

Isabel scoffed. "It’s you who are being stupid."

He must have either taken her as the girl who lost her memories from five years ago or simply assumed she would fall for his trick again.

Decker's gaze turned grim. He moved closer and started to threaten her. "Isabel, know your place."

Then, the elevator stopped on the first floor.

Isabel wanted to circle him but he grabbed her hand.

She glared at him and bellowed, "Let go!"
