Judging from the tone, Isabel knew it was Roland.

The displeasure on her face faded. She quickly tapped on the screen of the phone and replied, "Who are you?"

"Roland."

Isabel curled her lips before she put her phone away.

At the same time, a white car drove into the parking lot of the Rockwells' building.

Clarice came down from the car, her heels clacked as she elegantly entered the building.

When the security guards and receptionists saw her, they greeted her respectfully, "Ms. Houston."

Clarice walked past them, headed to the elevator, and went up to Decker's office.

She went inside without even knocking.

Inside the spacious office, Decker was alone at his desk, reading through documents.

When he saw her, he looked baffled. He got on his feet and asked, "Clarice? What are you doing here?"

Clarice looked around the office but found nothing unusual. She quickly smiled and said, "Decker, I missed you. That’s

why I came to see you."

She walked to him.

Decker walked around his desk and went up to her. He stroked her face affectionately and asked, "Why didn't you tell me? I could’ve settled my work earlier and gone out with you."

Clarice smiled happily when she heard him. "I just want to look at you, I didn't want to disturb your work."

"You'll only motivate me to work harder, why would you disturb me?" Decker playfully pinched her nose.

Clarice leaned on his chest with a sweet smile. Her eyes subtly stared at the deepest part of his office.

The place looked clean as usual and there were no signs and presence of someone else.

He would not have brought a woman in here, would he?

Decker was busy with work, why would he have the time to cheat on her with another woman?

Why would she believe the text that she received from an unknown source?

Clarice pursed her lips and sighed. "Decker, I'm sorry. I'm hiding something from you."

Decker looked confused but he continued softly, "What is it?"

Clarice took her phone out and showed the anonymous text she received to Decker.

The text was sent to her twenty minutes ago.

"A woman just entered Decker's office. Come to the office right now."

Decker's expression turned grim. He asked angrily, "Who sent you this?"

Clarice answered, "I don't know. It's anonymous, I can't track its source."

Decker feigned a pondering look and then said coldly," Maybe it's Roland. He’s trying to sow discord between us."
