The next morning, Brielle got up a little after 7, only to discover that her parents had stayed in another villa last night, giving her and her little family some space.

The Premier Palace was spotless, with all of yesterday's chaos neatly sorted out. Only Isaac was there, eagerly presenting Little Noir, the puppy, to her.

"Mom, look, Little Noir."

Isaac was still getting used to calling her "mom." Each time he did, his ears would turn a little red.

Brielle didn’t want to rush him. She was about to reassure him that it was fine to take his time when she noticed him lower his lashes.

"I'm really happy, Brielle. We're a family."

He was letting her know how thrilled he was to be part of the family.

Brielle found her words stuck in her throat, but her smile said it all.

Isaac glanced upstairs. Was Dad having a lazy morning today?

He placed Little Noir on the couch, and right then, Noir came in, rubbing against Isaac's knee.

Little Noir had opened his eyes and was playfully sprawled on the sofa.

Isaac's eyes sparkled with joy as he caught a glimpse of Max coming down the stairs.

Max joined Isaac, giving Noir a gentle pat on the head.

Seeing this, Brielle knew it wasn't King; it was Max who had returned.

Isaac just glanced up briefly, then looked away, the word "dad" unspoken.

Max sat beside him, pulling Brielle close, and asked, "How did you sleep last night?"

Brielle nodded, her cheeks turning a bit pink.

"Max, how about you? You’ve seemed a bit tired lately, maybe from all the variety show filming?"
