Sophia could not believe in her ears. Bruce bought the professor?
"Don't be too shocked. It's just for the classes. I didn't make any deal with getting a high score. So
it's not illegal that you can go and complain to the dean about it."
Bruce's voice was full of mockery. But by looking at the expression on his face, anyone could say
that he was enjoying Sophia's reaction.
As she grabbed her forehead and turned her head away from him, Sophia thought to herself,
'These two brothers are getting on my nerves.'
She closed her eyes to take a deep breath to ease her mind. However, she was unable to allow her
thoughts to calm down. Before she had a chance to calm down, Bruce spoke out again.
“The professor informed us that he would assign us such a large amount of work that we would be
required to spend nearly four hours working together. I was considering telling him to increase the
hourly rate…" he muttered.
"Shut up!" Sophia roared at him.
He pursed his lip to stop his laugh.
He had so many ideas in his head to get her back. It's just that he needed time to proceed. He was
an Alpha in rank. It did not give him a nature to feel cowardly. So even after his big brother
warned him, he did not agree to leave Sophia's side. He believed she belonged to him from the
beginning, and he would get her back.

she were his mate, he would have to let her go for me.'
During the time Bruce was thinking all of those unrealistic things, Sophia glanced at him and
observed him.
"Have you gone mad?" she asked him.
"Huh?" he asked as her voice reached her ears.
"You looked crazy a few seconds ago," Sophia replied as she turned the pages of the notebook.
Bruce cleared his throat as he shoved his thoughts about the positions and gazed at her.
Sophia could feel him looking at her from head to toe. She was aware of his gaze because she had
spent two years with him.
"Stop scanning me with your eyes," she muttered in a furious tone.
"Why did you wear such a hot dress today? To impress me?" he asked with a smirk.
She didn't have to turn to look at him to see his smirk. She knew how he reacted when he talked.
"No, to impress your brother," she replied while turning to him and smirking at him.
Almost instantly, his smirk disappeared. "Sophia."
"What?"
She was tired of running away from his ex-boyfriend. So she decided to face him.
She rested her face on her palm while looking at him. With a grin on her face, she said,
"Didn't you buy the professor for me? Then, let us have a conversation. What's there to be
ashamed about?"
Her voice was a little loud, which caught the students' attention who were sitting close to them.
He glared at her, and she sneered at him in response. "Why so angry, ex-boyfie? Didn't you want
to talk to me?"
“You have become sassy. You were not like this when you were with me,” he said.
Sophia nodded her head. "Yeah, you are right. It's all because of your big brother. He is playing
hard to get with me. So I thought, why not seduce him? After all, he is my mate."
This time, she spoke in a low voice so only he could hear her.
Her every word was piercing to Bruce, and she was aware of it. He had hurt her a lot. Why not
hurt him in return?
He grabbed her wrist firmly under the desk. "You are saying these things to me intentionally."
She tried to break her hand free from him. But then she paused and said,
“Grab it more tightly. I want your brother to see the red skin on my hand. Perhaps it will cause
him to feel jealous of it.”
In an instant, he let go of her hand. She laughed at him while moving her hands, which he had just
released.
"Still so afraid of your brother? You are a child in front of him. Don't provoke him..." she paused
and glanced at her wrist.
She repeated the words that Troy had told her to alarm her about Bryan.

Bruce stared at her for a while, then replied to her warning.
"He can not destroy my life because I am not an ordinary person. I am not just his younger brother
