Sophia went into the forest after Victor had left.
The cold wind was blowing, and it was moving the branches of the trees. She walked for a while,
thinking about her life.
She had no tears in her eyes. But her eyes were empty, as if she were lost in this strange world.
She felt that this cruel world was not for her. She was a happy girl who liked to see everyone
happy. How could fate want the opposite of her?
The sky was overcast with clouds. The clouds shifted away from the moon. The moon found its
full light and illuminated the whole forest.
Sophia's eyes turned ocean blue. She looked to her right and left and sniffed the air to see if
someone was close to her.
When it was clear that there was no one, she shifted into her wolf form.
The moonlight lit the white fur of her body. The ocean blue eyes were enough to kill any Alpha,
making them want to have her.
Every moment of her and Bryan’s intimacy rushed to her mind when she started to run.
Her mind kept replaying Bryan's words. He was sacrificing the matebond because of the desire to
gain some other pack.

She came to a stop in front of a lake and sat down there.
In the water of the lake, there was a reflection of a white wolf with eyes the color of the ocean
shining through.

She recalled how she broke up with Bruce. He said sorry countless times to her. However, she
never allowed herself to forgive him in her heart.
That is how strong she was.
After learning that the head Alpha, the elder brother of her ex-boyfriend, was her mate, she told
the man to reject her on the first day. She was that strong.
Her mate wanted her to sacrifice herself to save her brother's position. She did not think about
herself and gave up herself for her brother. She was that strong.
‘How could you think I am weak? Are you saying that I am weak simply because I have shown
you my care and love, treated you gently, and blushed around you in love?’
She shook her head. She was not weak. She only trusted that man without question.

The fact that she had always ignored Bryan's cold behavior toward her made her feel like a foolish
girl.
She let out a heartfelt howl while gazing at the moon.
Her howls were resonating throughout the forest, indicating that a wolf was in distress and
suffering from a broken heart.
Sophia could not just forget how he talked to her tonight in the restaurant.
How could he ruin her special day? He left her because of that woman.
Her howls changed into growls as time went on. Her ocean-blue eyes turned colder.
Bryan mistook her. She was a very sharp-minded girl. In love, she liked to give her all. But when
she was done, she never turned back to the man again.
Because of Bryan, she lost her pride, her self-respect, her innocence, and her happiness.
How would she repair herself now?
She recalled how she used to dream about going for a run with him. Everything was just her
delusion.
He had never dreamed of anything with her.
It was always only her. It was always one-sided from her side.

marry another woman, she would not stop him.

Soon, the sun began to rise.
Sophia was still looking at the lake. She was there the whole night.

from the water of the lake.
She went back to the path where she had shifted. She shifted back, put on her clothes, and
grabbed her bag.
While she was getting back on the road, she checked her phone.
There were thirty missed calls from her brother Abraham and five missed calls from Bryan.
She ignored Bryan's number and directly called her brother back.
"Where the hell are you?"
The angry voice of her brother came out of the phone. But she did not flinch at it like other times.
"Brother."
Her voice did not seem okay to Abraham as he asked,
"Where are you? Why didn't you come back home last night?"
She walked out of the forest with her hair dripping water onto the ground beside her feet.
"Sophia? Are you okay? Where are you? Just tell me. I talked to Alpha last night. He said you
were not with him. Mom and I were very worried about you."
When she heard Bryan's name, her eyes moved slightly. She blinked her eyes after a while, then
replied in a calm tone.
"Everything is over, brother."
