Robert let go of Sophia and moved back. His eyes were fixed on Sophia as if telling her to listen
to him.
Sophia ignored him and looked at Victor.
"I am not in the mood to dance anymore. I am going to the restroom."
"Upstairs."
While glaring at Robert, Victor told her to use the VIP restroom upstairs.
She nodded her head, left the dance floor, and went upstairs to use the restroom. She came to the
realization that the upstairs was not in use for tonight. The place was empty and all the rooms
were closed.
She went to use the restroom. Her mind was replaying what Robert had told her. She was certain
that Bryan had sent him to her.
When Sophia came out of the restroom, she thought about staying upstairs for a while. She did
not want to see that man's face again and again.
"Wanna stay here?"
When she heard a voice behind her, she turned around.
She saw Victor walking toward her. He was holding a glass of wine. He chugged down the drink,
placed the glass on a table near him, and continued to walk in her direction.
"I...I thought about staying here for a while."
He halted in front of her. "For what? To clear up your mind?"
His gaze remained on her face until it moved slowly down to her body. She was unaware of his
gaze as she started speaking.
"No, it's not like that. I was just–"
Victor suddenly came closer to her, which caused her to retreat. Her body was pressed against the
pillar behind her.
"Victor."
He lifted his hand and wrapped it around her neck. She gasped when she thought he almost
choked her. He smirked at her reaction.
His other hand moved to touch her bare arm, causing her to shiver.
"V-Victor–"
"Sshh."
He moved his hand away from her neck and lowered his head. She gasped again as he planted a
kiss on her neck.
“How long are you going to make me wait? Just four days, and you will be mine."
She blinked at his words. She felt uneasy by his touch. Maybe it was because she was not used to
his touch, or it could be her wolf, who did not want anyone else to touch her.
She lifted her hands to his chest to push him, but before she could do that, he moved his head
from her neck and pressed his lips on hers.
She froze in her place. He began to move his lips, which brought her back to her senses. She did
not like how he suddenly kissed her without her consent. She tried to push him, but he pressed his
body against her and tilted his head to kiss her deeply.
Her hands patted his chest in an attempt to move him, but he remained unmoved.
She stopped struggling when her wolf wanted to take over and push him away from her. She shut
her eyes to control her wolf and decided to push Victor herself, but she froze when a loud growl
reached her ears.
Everything seemed to go silent after hearing the growl. Even the music downstairs was inaudible
to her ears after that.
Victor broke the kiss and turned around.
Sophia raised her eyebrows in surprise upon seeing a pair of red eyes staring directly at her.
It was Bryan who had just growled.
He was gazing at them. He tilted his head left and right, as if he were trying to control himself
from doing something he shouldn't.
But when he got closer to them, Victor spoke out.
"Alpha Bryan, you should not come here. You just interrupted our passionate kiss."
Bryan did not allow him to finish as he gripped his neck and pushed him against another pillar.
Sophia let out a loud gasp. Bryan glared at Victor and yelled,
"HOW DID YOU KISS HER?"
Victor scoffed at him as if he did not care about how tightly Bryan held his neck.
"So what? She is my Luna. I can kiss her anytime I want."
"Any time you want?" Bryan asked, kicking his abdomen.
Victor grabbed his stomach when he felt pain. Sophia tried to dash toward Victor with a stunned
face.
"Victor!"
But she paused near him when Bryan turned his head to look at her. His eyes were still red, as if
he did not want to calm himself anymore.
"Why are you hitting him? Leave him," she said to Bryan.
"You enjoyed his kiss, didn't you?" Bryan muttered angrily.
She was stunned by his question. But there was no way she would say no to him.
Victor grabbed Bryan's collar, turned him to the pillar, and punched his cheek.
Sophia gulped when she saw the two Alphas fighting with each other.
She did not know how to stop them. Fortunately, their officials rushed toward them. They tried to
move the Alphas away from each other.
It was good that neither of their gammas were present. Otherwise, they would have attacked the
other Alpha for attacking their head Alpha.
"Victor, let’s not fight," Sophia said, reaching out her hand to pull Victor away.
On the other hand,
Bryan shifted his focus to Sophia's hand, which was holding Victor's. He clenched his jaw and
grabbed Victor's neck again, this time more firmly.
“I let you go every time you touched her, but how did you dare kiss her? I will kill you tonight,”
Bryan said, pressing him against the pillar again.
Victor chuckled as he shook his head. "Kill me? Like how you killed my mate?"
Everyone turned silent after hearing that. Bryan moved his gaze at Sophia as if trying to see her
reaction.
But he did not see any surprise in her eyes. He sneered as he let go of Victor's neck.
"So you told her about it."
Victor laughed at him. "Of course. How long will you hide your crime, Alpha Bryan? How long
will you hide yourself under this goody image? It’s a vassal over your true face."
Bryan smirked at him as he moved toward him.
“You are so right. I should stop hiding who I am. What else have you told her about me? Is she
aware of the location where I sent you many years ago?”
Victor's expression darkened as he glared at Bryan. He attempted to hit Bryan's head with his own
head, but before that, Bryan moved his head and slammed Victor's head hard against the pillar.
Sophia screamed in shock as she saw blood gushing from Victor's head.
"VICTOR!"
