However, Sophia was mad at Bryan. On this important day, he made her wait as if it were
unimportant in his eyes.
She cut the cake, ignoring his touch. She remained calm throughout the party and said goodbye to
the guests with a polite smile.
After the guests had left, she instructed Brayden to go to sleep in his room.
She returned to her bedroom and began to remove her earrings. In front of the dressing table, she
was seated on the stool that was there.
Her eyes were in the mirror. Anyone would say she was not in a good mood.
The door opened, and the man in the black suit entered the room.
She did not look at his face in the mirror since she knew it was her husband.
She noticed him approaching her. He stood behind her and lowered himself.
He placed his hands on her bare arm, as she was dressed in a sleeveless gown.
"What?" she demanded in an angry tone.
Bryan tilted his head and kissed her on the cheek.
"I'm sorry, baby girl. Are you mad at me?" he inquired in a raspy voice.
"No," she replied, continuing what she was doing.
His right hand caressed her bare neck, causing her to close her eyes.
Suddenly, she felt a weight on her neck. With a frown, she opened her eyes but froze.
Her gaze fell directly on her neck in the mirror. She was staring at the necklace that Bryan had
just placed around her neck.
"This!"
She immediately stood up and turned to face him.
"This emerald necklace! This is the only piece in the world that sold out during the last auction!
How did you get it?" She asked with a shocked tone.
She was not a fan of jewelry. But a few days ago, this necklace caught her eye at the auction,
where she had gone with Mila. She did not purchase it because it was too expensive, and she
believed she should not spend too much money on herself.
"I clearly remember. "Some pack had bought it for twice the price to showcase it in their
museum," she murmured.
Bryan smirked at her, rubbing his knuckles against her chin.
"And your husband paid three times the price for it from them."
Her lips parted in surprise. It was not because of the money he spent on her, but because of the
way he always catered to her preferences.
"I am sorry again, baby girl. I was late for this present. Bruce also wanted to buy something for
Mila, so we both arrived late tonight."
She hugged him and mumbled,
"Bryan, you didn't have to."
He kissed her head and muttered,
"Come with me. I have another surprise for you."
Sophia was puzzled when he dragged her out of their bedroom.
What was the surprise he was talking about? It was already late at night, and everyone had fallen
asleep. What kind of surprise was he going to give her?
As soon as he brought her out onto the balcony, she let out a loud gasp.
It appeared to her as if she had entered a world of fantasy because of how exquisitely decorated it
was.
The large balcony turned into a dreamy place. She heard a loud sound from behind.
She turned around and saw Bryan close the balcony door.
"What are you doing?" she asked shyly.
He grabbed her waist and directed her to the other side of the balcony. She saw there were small
sleeping arrangements.
On the white mattress that was lying on the floor, she noticed flowers and champagne, along with
fruits.
Both of them smiled at each other as they sat down.
"So beautiful!"
Sophia hugged him with a smile.
They were able to get a clear view of the moon because the balcony was located beneath the sky.
The moon was the focus of Sophia's attention as she tried to take in its splendor. Meanwhile,
Bryan was staring at her.
She blinked when she felt Bryan leaning close to her face.
Even after years of marriage, she could feel her heart racing whenever he was around. It was
always the same as when it first happened. Their love grows stronger with each passing day.
They were like cute couples, with the woman arguing with her man and the man trying to
persuade his woman.
Sophia felt Bryan's lips against her own. She immediately turned to him and kissed him back.
His arms encircled her waist, pulling her closer to him.
They kissed deeply and passionately under the moonlight.

Sophia ended the kiss and looked into his eyes. The tenderness in his eyes reminded her of their

She could not believe how happy she was right now.

He paused and tilted his head, then kissed her neck. She shut her eyes and took a deep breath.
He moved up to her ear and continued,
"I will vent my rage and punish you in my bed, baby girl."
She wrapped her hands around his neck and said,
"Bryan, I love you so much. Promise me that you will never change and remain the same."
It was then that he broke the embrace and cupped her cheeks. The love that he had for her was
evident in his eyes.
He kissed her forehead and replied,
“Even if we grow old and reach the end of our lives, my love for you will never change. I will
keep loving you like this forever.”
