The moment Allison stepped inside the pack house, tears rolled down her cheeks. She tried to stop
herself by biting her lower lip, but it seemed as though her heartbeat was getting slower with
every passing instant. She felt like she would die at any moment.
She was controlling herself at each moment. She tried hard not to show her pain to Ryan.
FLASHBACK
"You will marry Ethan whether you like it or not. It's a royal decision. No one can decline it. Not

His father's words stunned Allison. She stared at her father with pain in her eyes.
"Dad, what are you saying?"
He moved his feet to get closer to her. Her mother made room for him to speak with her daughter

He spoke to her while stroking her hair and saying,
"I gave my words to Alpha Neil. Ethan was someone you looked up to throughout your entire life.

Allison closed her eyes as tears streamed out of her eyes. She was angry at herself for having ever
loved Ethan.

"He is a good boy. Forget about your grudges, Allison. Start a fresh new relationship with him."
Her mother said to her.

she felt lost.
"You will never find a man who cares about you as much as Ethan." Her father stated.
It made her furious. She wiped her tears and lifted her head to look at her father. He smiled at her
as he was still stroking her head.
"Do you even know what he did to me? You always think of him as a caring person. Have you a
heart to listen to how much care he has shown to me?"
Her father's face was filled with perplexity. "What are you talking about? What did he do?"
"He rejected your daughter, Dad. He left your daughter to die on her eighteenth birthday."
Her father's hand froze on her head. Her mother gasped as she could not believe what Allison was
telling them.
"It is not possible." Her father muttered and removed his hand from her head.
Allison laughed through her tears of sorrow. She spoke from the depths of her heart.
"The Alpha Ethan you know is fake. He always pretends to be a good man. Maybe he is a good
son and a good Alpha for this pack. But he was not a good mate when he rejected me. Only I
know how much pain I had to bear for him. I even lost my wolf at that time. It took a long time to
get my wolf back. He was the reason for all of this. He crushed my self-respect and told me that I

Beta Glen made his way to her and expressed his sorrow to her.

Allison sobbed and lowered her head. She thought it was the best time to tell her parents about
Ryan and her relationship.
