Dragus POV
It's been 6 days since we found out that Aria had left 6 fucking days and I was going crazy my dragon was constantly pacing both me and Darian were on edge we couldn't understand why were we feeling the way we were towards her.
Two days after she left we were both woken we the same dream, a dream of us in the clearing with her she was standing in the middle staring up at the stars she looked amazing just standing there we could see her from the darkness of the trees she turned and looked at us staring right into our eyes when we made our way over to her I couldn't keep my eyes from her, I had the sudden urge to touch her so I lifted my hand and stroked her face the sparks that flew up my arm were unimaginable when the breeze that surrounds us picked up her hair whipping around her I heard a voice whisper "MATES" and then it ended I woke up in my bed my sheets soaked from the sweat that had come from my body I could still feel the tingles on my hand and arm touching her it felt real.
The door to my room swung open Darian stood there heaving he looked like he had run a marathon with the way his chest was going up and down and the sweat on his chest.
"You had the same dream too?" he asked I nodded my head as he made his way into my room and sat on the edge of my bed.
"You heard it too," he asked looking down at his lap. I wasn't sure if I had heard it right but if Darian had heard it too then it must have been right.
"Yes I heard it but is it true do you think....do you think she is our mate?" I asked still trying to process the dream how can it be true, one dragon to one mate but here we were asking if we had the same mate, could I share her with my brother dragons were very territorial with their mates so having one mate for the both of us was such a confusing thing to have to think about.
"I don't know... what I do know is I have this strange connection with her this pull and I can't stop thinking about her where the fuck is she her friend doesn't know and if she is our mate how are we going to find her?"
If I was honest I had no clue how to find her what if she didn't want to be found? What if she had found someone else my chest clenched at the thought of her with another man that wasn't me or Darian I clenched my fists and shook my head getting rid of those thoughts I couldn't think about that we needed to find her and fast.
"I'm going to get ready and call the others we need to find her"
With that Darian left the room and I swung my legs out and made my way over to my bathroom, I turned the shower on and grabbed my phone I sent a quick text to the guys letting them know that we needed to meet up and find Aria. I got in the shower and let the hot water roll over me trying to calm my nerves.
"Where are you Aria" I whispered to myself.
After finishing up in the shower and getting ready I made my way down the stairs and found Darian in the kitchen talking to Mum and Dad.
"There you are my baby" mum came round the island as I entered the kitchen and kissed my cheeks. One look at Darian and I could tell we needed to go if his dragon was anything like mine I knew he was becoming impatient.
"Everything alright," our father asked glancing between the both of us and I'm sure he could read the look on Darians face as well as I could.
"Yeah, just some stuff to sort through with the guys" I replied one look at my father and I knew he wasn't buying it but he nodded nonetheless while eyeing me and Darian suspiciously.
We made our way out of the house and down to our car. Darian peeled out the driveway and towards the cafe where we were meeting the guys. As we pulled into the car park we jumped out of the car and headed for the cafe when I heard the voice.
"Dragus wait for me" I rolled my eyes at the annoying voice that belonged to Ashley Cindy's younger sister and royal wench of the school not that her sister was a saint or anything. She caught up to us and wrapped her arm around mine and pushed her chest into my side, Darain rolled his eyes and carried on moving towards the cafe. I peeled myself away from Ashley and turned towards her, her face was caked in makeup and her hair pulled back but it was dully and lifeless just like the look in her eyes.
"What do you want Ashley I'm busy" she tried to snake her arm around my waist and I stepped out of her hold.
"I've missed seeing you around have you been avoiding me? Have I done something wrong?" she whined.
I pinched the bridge of my nose and closed my eyes why does this girl insist on being around me we've never even been together like what the fuck. I opened my eyes and look at her.
"Ashley we are not a thing were not dating nor will we ever date so please just leave me alone I have more important things that I have to do than worry about seeing hearing or being with you now find someone else to bother"
She took a step back as my words sunk in I could see the tears welling up in her eyes but I couldn't care less she needed to get the ridiculous idea out of her head before it went any further I knew it was a harsh way of saying it but it had to be done. I turned on my heels and left I didn't have any more time to be standing here listening to her shit. As I got closer to the cafe door Darian was waiting for me.
"It needed to be done if Aria is our mate then we don't need some school girl crush coming between us" his voice was low so only I could hear it. We made our way into the cafe and sat down at the table the guys were at.
"So we need to find this chick Aria," Carlos said as he attacked his plate of food. I nodded before replying to him.
"We do and quickly" the others all looked at each other before their gazes returned to Darian and me.
"Any particular reason that it has to be her and fast" Marco cocked his head to the side we a smirk spreading across his face.
"She's our mate," Darian said his voice never wavering as he looked at the others. They stared back at us with an array of emotions flitting across their faces confusion, shock, realisation all there plain as day.
