Chapter 17 – Zeus Point of view

I watch her entered my room. I have to do it, I have to tell him the truth. But why am I so nervous?

‘Because you're afraid of the outcome of keeping this from our mate.’ My wolf said.

Maybe my wolf is right but she will not reject me, right?

"My King, you’re asking for my presence?" She asks. She's still wearing that shirt given by a male wolf in the crowd.

My wolf wants to tear that shirt off her.

"Yes, I need to tell you something." I said.

I pull my gloves off my hands. I look into her eyes and take my step forward. She looks nervous at this very moment. I need to do this.... I need to tell her the truth.

"Look Kath, I've had been hiding something from you from the beginning. I just want you to know that all I did was necessary for the Kingdom." I said.

"Necessary your face! Blast you, you son of a bachelor. LIER!" She outburst her anger to the vase in front of her and throw it to me. Luckily, I catch it before it hit the floor.

"Okay, I know you need your time. Your new room is next to mine. All your things are already in there." I said.

She just looks at me very mad. "If I can reject you I will right now, but my wolf wants you so be thankful, but I will not let you mark me." She said banging the door to closed.

This is bad! I'm not used to this kind of thing but I what should I do? The mating ceremony will be held in full moon.
