"It doesn't matter. If we don't know the reason why he left, don't think too much." Lyman comforted Benjamin.

Benjamin went home with his backpack and put the trophy in Lyman's place.

In the villa.

When Benjamin returned home, Daryl was watching a play on the sofa.

"Bennie?"

Seeing the little guy was listless when he came back, Daryl walked up to him and asked, "Baby, what's wrong? You look unhappy."

"Mommy, I'm fine." Benjamin hugged her.

Her depression disappeared a lot because of her mother.

After a while, Zack came back.

"Benjamin, what's wrong with him?"

When he walked to the sofa and sat down, he found that his son was burying his head in Daryl's arms, whining as if he had been wronged.

"I don't know."

Daryl cast a glance at him and said, "He just like this after school today. I don't know what happened at school." Hearing this, Zack took the little boy out of her arms and put him on his laps.

"Benjamin, tell me what happened, okay?"

"Daddy, one of my friends transferred to another school and left." Benjamin whispered, "I don't want him to leave."

Hearing this, Daryl's heart melted. Poor little guy, it turned out that he was so sad because he had to part with his friends.

When she was about to comfort the little boy, she heard a cold reply from Zack.

"Do you have friends at school?"

"Daddy, you don't believe me."

Benjamin's face wrinkled. He burst into tears. "Why don't you trust me?"

Seeing the little boy crying, Daryl said discontentedly, "Zack, what are you doing? Why did you have to make your son cry? You didn't care about his life at school, and you questioned him like that. You are hurting his little heart!"

Hearing this, Zack thought about it carefully. What she said was right. He didn't care enough about the little boy's life at school.

An inexplicable sense of guilt rose from the bottom of his heart. He comforted his son unnaturally, "Well, it's dad's fault. Don't cry."

Benjamin stopped crying, but still raised his head and looked at him. "Dad, did you really realize your mistake?"

'Yes. "Then promise me one thing as compensation." Benjamin said directly.

"Okay, go ahead." Zack agreed readily.

"I will tell you when I figure it out." Holding his arm, Benjamin wiped his face with Zack's clothes and said awkwardly, "I haven't decided what I want yet."

Zack's face darkened when he saw his clothes dirty.

"Then think it over first."

He threw the little guy to Daryl and went upstairs to change his clothes.

"Don't take your daddy's words seriously." Daryl comforted Benjamin, "He didn't mean it."

"Mommy is the best!" Benjamin held her in his arms and kissed her. "Mommy, you must be with me forever!"

"Of course."

Daryl smiled and rubbed his little head.

That night, after comforting Benjamin and tucking him in, Daryl went back to her room and thought that she should find a way to make Benjamin feel better.

Although he was still young, he had high IQ and EQ. But he was still a child after all. It was inevitable for him to feel sad after he experienced the separation of friends.

"Nothing."

Seeing that it wasn't Zack, Dillon breathed a sigh of relief.

"Did you do anything bad during working hours?" Hale looked at him suspiciously.

"What are you thinking about?"

After muddling through in front of his two friends, Dillon picked up the useful documents and went to find Zack with them.

After Zack discussing with them about the resort, it was almost time to get off work.

"By the way, Dillon, is the program Super Brain broadcasted?" Suddenly, Zack asked, "Have you seen the special champion?"

"No."

Dillon shook his head and said, "The show has just been broadcast. There are one hundred contestants. We don't know who will be the winner for the time being." 'Okay.

Zack nodded. "Then remember to contact the crew of their program about the endorsement and interview."

"Well, yes, sir."

Dillon nodded with hesitation.

Rollins and Hale looked at each other. They felt something was wrong with Dillon.

After work, Zack was about to go home, but Dillon had something to ask for leave, so he took Rollins and Hale back.

However, the villa was empty. Benjamin didn't come back, and Daryl was also nowhere to be found.

Zack looked at the quiet living room with a dark face. He took out his phone and called Daryl, but no one answered!

When he was about to dial her again, a low voice came from behind the sofa, "Meow."

Putting down his phone, Zack stood up and walked to the back of the sofa. His eyes darkened and he saw a palm sized kitten curling up on the soft carpet.
