Daryl's face turned beet red in an instant.

She lowered her head, avoiding his eyes at all costs. "Zack, it was just an accident!"

Even though she was drugged and sent to his room that time, Daryl could still vaguely remember how she felt that night.

'What am I thinking?' Daryl bit her lower lip.

"And at the poolside last time..."

Step by step, Zack pressed her against the wall behind her. His gaze fell on her slender figure.

"Daryl, do you mean to say that you didn't feel something for me back then?"

"I..."

Daryl's back felt cold as she was pressed against the wall. She looked around, trying to resist the urge to stare into his eyes.

"No, I didn't!"

She finally managed let out a weak voice.

Truth be told, she didn't know if these poorly constructed words were enough to convince him.

Daryl couldn't help but feel a little remorseful. 'How could I act like this every time I'm in front of Zack?' Is that so?'

Zack chuckled softly as he held up her chin and leaned over to kiss her.

The second his lips touched hers, he lost control of himself and couldn't let go.

With Daryl close to his body, the two of them fell onto the bed.

She was forced to endure it and wanted to resist, but she couldn't escape his grasp because of their sheer difference in strength.

Zack knew in his heart that the moment he tasted her lips, there was no way that he could stop. He had been abstinent for more than twenty years, and the first time he regained his sexual desires was because of her.

At this point, he would probably be at her mercy for the rest of his life.

Daryl's vision was starting to blur as she subconsciously grasped the hem of his shirt.

"Idiot, take a breath!"

When Zack was about to go even further, he noticed that she was blushing. Obviously, she was about to lose her senses.

Panting, Zack finally let go of her.

The second he let her go, Daryl could breathe again and she came back to her senses.

But when she heard what he said, she started blushing again.

At this moment, Zack was staring at her like a hawk. His sharp gaze pierced into her heart as he spoke in a deep and cold voice. "Daryl, do you not know how to kiss?"

After several instances of physical intimacy with this woman, he could tell that she knew nothing about such things.

Zack pinched her chin again, and his eyes gleamed with a tinge of mischief. "You and Leon had been married for five years."

"Who says that I don't know how to kiss?"

Daryl didn't like the playful way he was looking at her. "It was just I kissed too much. I'm not really interested in it anymore!"

"What?"

Zack scowled. "Do you mean to say that you're frigid now?"

Daryl was rendered speechless.

She felt so ashamed!

"Can we please stop talking about this?" she asked, glaring at him. "Can I go to bed now? I need to go to the set tomorrow."

"Fine."

But as soon as he said that, he appeared to have changed his mind. He demanded, "From now on, you must kiss me every night before you go to bed."

"What?"

After that, her ears had turned completely red. "You can let go of me now, so I can get some shuteye."

Zack chuckled. Perhaps he was laughing at how sheepish she was. Nevertheless, he let go of her and got up to change into his pajamas.

At last, Daryl breathed a sigh of relief. She stood up and took a pillow from the sofa, placing it in the middle of the bed.

After changing his attire, Zack returned. The moment he saw the so-called boundary, a mischievous grin appeared on his face.

With her back to him, Daryl didn't take too much of the quilt because of her petite figure.

As soon as Zack lay on the bed, Daryl felt something heavy beside her, pulling the quilt from her body.

She couldn't resist the urge to turn around. "Zack, you..."

She was planning to tell him not to hog the quilt, but as soon as she turned around, she saw that her face was right next to hers. Her clear eyes instantly met his deep, black eyes.

"Turn off the light,"

Zack ordered. Fine,1

Daryl answered and turned off the bedside lamp.

As soon as the light was turned off, darkness engulfed the room.

Daryl recalled what Sofia had told her earlier. She didn't want to sleep on the bruised side of her face, but she was having a hard time falling asleep.

After tossing and turning for a few times, she still couldn't find a comfortable sleeping position that would make her cheek feel better.

In addition, Zack was sleeping next to her. If only she had slept in a big bed by herself, sleeping wouldn't have been this troublesome.

"Daryl."

Just when she was too anxious to fall asleep, she heard Zack's cold voice.

"How long are you going to keep tossing and turning?" "No, I wasn't!"

Daryl turned to face him in the dark, but she wasn't sure if he could see her. "Sofia told me that I shouldn't press on this side of my face when I sleep, but I just can't seem to fall asleep."
