In the past, Selena was usually the one taking charge, and every time, Everett seemed to just go along with it so easily that she mistakenly thought of him as the delicate one, like a soft-hearted partner. But now, she realized just how wrong she was. He could pin her down without breaking a sweat. His hands wandered over her body, teasing and toying with her, stirring up emotions while she was all fired up yet helpless.

He knew her body like the back of his hand. When he leaned in and gently kissed the little mole on her collarbone, her body shivered involuntarily. Selena's eyes and nose tinged with a blush as she bit down on her lower lip, determined not to let any compromising sounds escape.

Everett’s fingers playfully caressed her lips, now rosy from his kisses, and as he realized he could still stir her senses, his recent anxieties and self-doubt began to lift. He thought to himself, ‘Selena was just being dramatic and acting out.’ Though this time, for some reason, it had dragged on a bit longer than usual.

She’d made some progress since before though. This time, she actually managed to snag a bit of his attention, giving him a rare bit of trouble over the last few days. Still, everything had its limits.

Everett was naturally reserved. He used to deal with a heart condition when he was younger, so he was extra cautious about getting too emotional. Plus, his ambitions were all about the Bennett Corporation and the Bennett family. He found the thrill of business battles and victories way more exciting than any sappy romance stuff.

Everett glanced down at Selena beneath him. Her eyes glistened with tears, and a few strands of her hair stuck to her flush cheeks. Her breathing was a bit heavier, and her red lips were slightly parted, silently inviting.

He originally just wanted to mess with her a bit out of annoyance, especially since they were in the office, where he always kept personal and professional matters separate. Sometimes, at social events, when some execs had a few too many drinks, they'd start bragging about their romantic adventures.
