Selena chuckled, firing back. "Oh, look who's talking! Aren't you, a married man, always seen hanging around with other women?"

"You..." Everett was momentarily speechless. He reached out and grabbed Selena's elbow, intending to have a word with her. But when she hissed in pain, her face twisting, he was taken aback. His expression darkened. "What happened here?"
