She replied coolly, giving him a gentle nudge. “Let go of me, I've got dough to work on.”

Everett chuckled, leaning down to nibble at her lip, seeing right through her. “You say one thing but mean another.”

Yet, he seemed in a good mood and didn’t get mad. Instead of letting her go, he wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder. “Keep kneading,” he said lazily.

Selena sighed, “You’re in the way!”

Everett ignored her, even nudging her along. “If you don’t hurry, we’ll miss dinner. Oh, and I like my crust a bit thicker!”
