Everett sprang up from the floor, grabbed her wrist, and pulled her in close. "Just try going after another guy!"

Fearlessly, Selena shot back, "Oh, I will."

Everett was done with the back-and-forth. If she said one more word, he'd probably lose it completely. And she wanted to find someone else? He'd make sure she couldn't even get out of bed!
