Callum sighed and shook his head, realizing there was no point trying to reason with someone who was clearly tipsy. "You're drunk. Let me get you home."

As he reached out to steady her, Selena shoved him away with surprising force, her eyes blazing with disdain. "Don't touch me. Go back to the hospital and cozy up with your mistress. You're disgusting!"

Callum halted, the sight of her tear-streaked face tugging at his heart.

"Everett, don’t think I’m hung up on you. I'm not. The way you've behaved makes me sick. How dare you cheat on me? How could you humiliate me like this?

"If you didn’t want me, you shouldn’t have married me. But you did, and now you can’t let go of your side piece, yet you won’t divorce me. What did I ever do to deserve this treatment from you?"
