Alex POV

"Mr. Carter, Mr. Mason is on the phone." I looked up at my temp. Why would Luke be calling me? It must be important. Probably something about Kally.

"Okay, thanks." I looked up the phone and brought it to my ears. I have being working since last week. I realize she might not wake after all. It's being two hectic weeks and she hasn't woken up. I wonder sometimes if she ever will. I visit her everyday but she doesn't respond.

"Hey, Luke. What can I do for you?" I asked in a nonchalant voice.

"She's awake,"

"What?" my heart jumped, I don't know why, but it did. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I want him to say it again.

"She's awake. Alliyah is in there talking to her now." He sounded happy. The weight that has being on my heart felt like it was lifted.

"I'll be there in five minutes." I smiled and hanged up the phone. I shut down my laptop then head to the door of my temporary office.

As I closed the door of my car I speed on the streets of New York city. My baby is awake. I can finally be able to hold her in my hands, see her beautiful eyes and hear her laugh. I don't ever planning on hurting her ever again. I plan on taking care of her and being the best husbands she could ever have.

Husband?

Yes, I want to marry her. While she was in coma my heart was breaking. Without her my life is dull and painful. Without her the only thing that would have mattered is work. Without her, I don't feel at home. without her, I'm not happy. She makes me happy and I'll do everything in my will to continue making her happy. She's my heart and I have protect her with everything in me. I love her. I love Kalliyah Bisson.

The news about the accident was spread to my parents. Now they know that Kalliyah was in fact telling the truth. I also told them that I forgave Alliyah for her wrongdoings and that she has changed and has a man that loves her. She won't make the same stupid mistake twice. After all she wants to be a part of her son's life. She deserve that much, Luke too. They're a great couple. It was obvious that he loved her and he wasn't afraid to let it show. He's very gallant with it.

I quickly parked my car in the garage and hurriedly made my way to her room. I spot Luke in the hall way. He looked sad. What's wrong?

He pulled me in and hugged me. "Stop, okay. Think positive. She'll be fine. You have to be strong. Think of it this way. Since you hurt her she doesn't remember what you did. It's your time to prove to her that you're sorry. Prove it to her so when she gets back her memory she doesn't have resentment in her heart for you. Prove to her that you love her. This is your chance. Remember think about the good things that might come from her memory loss." I told Luke all that happened on the day I kicked Kalliyah out and I also told him about our relationship. He understand, he didn't judge me for what I did. He saw through my eyes.

"Okay, I will but can I see her?" I asked him as I came out of his arms.

"Dr. Baines is in there and so is Alliyah but you can go as soon as they are finished."

"I wonder what I'll say to her once I get in there."

"Just start with an introduction after all, she doesn't remember you. Tell her about your relationship with her. Take it slowly. Don't want to put an pressure on her brain."

"Okay." I smiled at him. "Start with an introduction." I said more to myself than to Luke. I don't need to start my conversation with her by telling her sorry for something she doesn't remember. Take it slow. I will take it slow.
