Chapter 1972

Hank scoffed arrogantly. “This here is the heir of the Lannister family from

Zovince–Mr. Gwain Lannister, the man known as the best fighter in the world!

Not someone you insignificant guards can stop!”

Immediately, the guards bowed their heads in fear. However, the head guard

remained firm and apologized, “Mr. Lannister, I’m very sorry, but this venue

has been reserved by Maestro Moretti. She specifically ordered that no one

enter unless invited. All her guests have already gone inside. If you wish to

meet her, you will have to wait until after the performance.”

Gwain frowned, displeasure evident on his face.

Wyatt coldly added, “Maestro Moretti is elusive. Who knows when we’ll have

another chance to see her after tonight? Do you really think you can

Tanner family, were a prestigious family with a century–old legacy. Their

reputation was just as prominent nationwide.

The guards were caught in a difficult position, sweat starting to bead on their

foreheads. Isabella was strict, and none of them dared disobey her orders.

Yet, offending the Lannister family could lead to serious consequences.

“Mr. Gwain, please allow me to report this to Maestro Moretti,” the head guard

offered, hoping to defuse the situation. But before he could take a step, Hank

kicked him aside. “Get lost! If others can go in, why should Mr. Gwain have to

The trio began pushing their way into the magnolia garden, easily

overpowering the guards without needing Gwain to lift a finger. Hank and

Wyatt dealt with them swiftly, leaving a path of unconscious bodies behind

as they forced their way through with Roselynn in tow.

Sonia, worried about Shane, hesitated for a moment before steeling herself

and sneaking in behind them.

glanced at Gwain, silently asking if they should knock Roselynn out, but Gwain

shook his head. Not yet.

“Roselynn! What are you doing here?” Shane rushed to her side, grabbing her

arm. “Manny’s been looking everywhere for you. Come on, let’s go find him!”

Roselynn wanted nothing more than to go with Shane, but before they could

move, Hank and Wyatt stepped in front of them, blocking their path.

“Hey, fatso, are you blind? Do we dead to you?” Hank snarled.

“Uh, who are you guys?” Shane asked, stepping protectively in front of

Roselynn. “Roselynn, do you know them?”

Roselynn hesitated. She desperately wanted to escape, but she knew that

without Emmanuel, Shane stood no chance of saving her from these men.
