Chapter 11 

Kamryn walked into the hall with Eugene in her arms. 

The sales hall was decorated magnificently. The ceiling was over 32 feet high and had a crystal chandelier hanging from it. At a glance, one could tell that the chandelier worthed a fortune. 

Such luxurious furnishings made Kamryn uncomfortable all of a sudden. 

The sales lady came over with a smile. However, when she got closer, she was stunned at first. After she looked Kamryn up and down, the enthusiasm in her eyes dimmed immediately 

Kamryn was wearing clothes that one could get from the supermarket at a discount price. They had been washed repeatedly for years, so the clothes had already lost their original color, and the collar was slightly white. 

The cheap jeans she had on looked more like they were from the street 

A corner of the bag on her shoulder was even scraped off 

Kamryn wore no accessories in her hair. Although she had great hair, she looked nothing like a customer who could afford an apartment worth 80 thousand dollars per square yard, nor someone who could afford such high rent.

When Imperial Estate was first launched, they were sold at the price of 70 thousand dollars per square yard. The sales office was once full but there were not many customers who really had the money to buy anything here. 

It should be noted that the price of 70 thousand dollars per square yard would mean that each apartment cost over two million dollars. 

Most people wouldn’t be able to afford it. 

Every sales consultant of Imperial Estate was an elite in the industry. The sales office received many customers every day, but many of them only came because of how famous the apartments were. It was obvious that they just wanted to see how good Imperial Estate was and had no real intention to buy one. It was such a waste of manpower, so the developer decided to implement such a screening method. 

However, not every customer needed to go through the capital verification process. 

And there was no need for anyone to go through the capital verification just to see the floor plans for the different apartments available.

However, the sales lady didn’t want to waste time on Kamryn, who was dressed cheaply. She didn’t even want to show her the plans. 

Kamryn said carefully. “Uh, I only know that capital verification is needed to see the show house, but I have never heard that capital verification is also needed to look at the floor plans.”

The sales lady was so polite just a moment ago. Why had her attitude changed so much all of a sudden?

The manager, who was sitting in his office, heard the noise and rushed over. He thought that there was a conflict 

The sales lady complained to him, “Sir, don’t waste your time on her. She just wants to sneak into the sales office to see the show house. She doesn’t want to buy one at all! Look at her.
