Chapter 24

Kamryn’s mind was racing. She gently grabbed his wrist. Toexpectedly, as soon as she moved, there was a noise at her feet.

She sat up and looked around, only to see Eugene holding Baymax in his arms and sitting up on the bed with a blank face. His eyes were sleepy, and his hair was slightly messy. He looked around, looked at Kamryn and then at Haymax in his arms, and puffed out his checks in anger.

Before Kamryn could lighten up the atmosphere, Eugene stood up with his hands on his hips and suddenly threw Baymax to the ground.

The sudden movement woke Charlie up.

He sat up on the bed and rubbed his hair with a relaxed expression. Ile then turned to look at the stiff Kamryn and said calmly, “You’re awake.”

Kamryn asked awkwardly, “Why am 1… in the bed!”

“I couldn’t let a woman sleep on the sofa.

He carried her to the bed, and the three of them shared a bed.

Charlie casually got out of bed. Eugene put his hands on his hips and glared at Charlie as if saying. “You stuffed Raymax into my arms to trick me last night!”

When Kamryn changed her clothes and came out of the closet, Charbe had also changed his clothes. He was wearing a white shirt, gray trousers, and white leather shoes. Such a simple outfit made him look incomparably noble.

She liked innocent, pretty boys when she was a young girl, but now, she admired mature, handsome men like Charlie more. He looked cold on the surface, yet he was gentle.
