Chapter 28 

Kamryn firmly believed in one thing. 

That was, one always showed off what he didn’t have. 

She thought, “A special reality show for Valentine’s Day?” 

Kamryn smiled, “Jenna, I’m your work assistant on set, not your life assistant. You came out to shoot a reality show. It has nothing to do with me.” 

Jenna smiled and said, “Kamryn, you left halfway through work yesterday. According to the rules, the crew can deduct three times your daily wage. But I helped you ask for leave, so they won’t deduct money from your salary. My assistant is not free today. You have no problem working instead of her for half a day, right?” 

Kamryn fell silent. 

What Jenna said was true. 

Yesterday, Kamryn was in a hurry to go home because the landlord threatened to throw her luggage away. Kamryn was worried that her mother’s photo would be thrown away. It was not easy for her to keep it, and it was the only thing she brought out of the home. 

She couldn’t say anything more. 

After all, she was in the wrong. 

“Wyatt, let’s go.” 

Jenna held Wyatt’s arm and walked in front of Kamryn. 

In the restaurant, all the cameras were ready.

Wyatt noticed her question. 

He looked at Kamryn and frowned slightly. 

Wyatt thought, “A man answered the phone for her? 

Was she with a man last night?” 

Kamryn said evenly, “Jenna, you’re really interested in my private life.” 

“No, I’m just a little worried. Kamryn, you’d better be careful. Don’t get involved with bad guys. I’m saying this for your own good.” 

Kamryn smiled and said, “Thank you. I won’t be like someone who slept with her future brother–in–law before her sister’s wedding.” 

Such blunt words made Jenna’s face turn pale. 

Now, the media and the crew were all present. 

If others heard it, they would inevitably publicize it. 

Jenna was furious, but she had to maintain a sweet smile. “Kamryn, you misunderstood me. Moreover, it was clearly you who betrayed Wyatt first…
