Chapter 611 I Am Too Into the Food

Because Marvin changed the subject to the dishes and didn’t talk about work anymore, Vivian had a very relaxing meal.

Marvin still did not mention anything about the movie or the part when they paid the bill.

“The food here is good. I can bring my friends over next time,” Marvin said with a smile.

“Actually, there is a good restaurant across the street. It’s small, but there is a lot of delicious food.”

Hearing that, Vivian became interested. She even excitedly shared her experience with Marvin. Marvin didn’t reject it. They discussed it really seriously.

They weren't as ginger as they were when they first met.

Standing aside and watching that, Melissa shook her head amusedly.

They finally said goodbye. Vivian got into the van but was still a little excited.

“Mr. Lynn isn’t as serious as people say. I feel that he is quite easy to get along with.”

Hearing Vivian’s words, Melissa did not say anything. She looked at Vivian with her arms crossed.

Noticing Melissa’s gaze, Vivian paused for a second. Suddenly, she slapped her thigh and suddenly remembered a much more important matter, which was the purpose of their meeting with Marvin today.

“Oh no. Melissa, I’m so screwed up.” Vivian blinked and looked at Melissa.

However, Melissa looked very calm. “Why? Wasn't the food good?”

Vivian was so depressed. She looked at Melissa with a sad expression. Vivian reached out to gently pinch the corner of

Melissa’s clothes and shook it.

“Melissa, I’m such a fool. I was too into the food.”

Vivian was so remorseful. It was such an important opportunity for her, but she lost it because of some dishes.

Vivian almost wanted to give herself a punch. She swore to herself that she would be on a diet to lose weight in the next few days.

Looking at Vivian’s complicated expression, Melissa let out a sigh. She reached out and poked Vivian's forehead.

“Do you finally remember what came for? I thought that you only cared which restaurant was better.”

Vivian looked up at Melissa. “Melissa, what should I do now? Can I get the part now?”

“You seemed to be quite smart. Why are you so silly now? If Mr. Lynn didn't like you and didn't want to give you the job, would he chat with you happily?”

“What?” Vivian was stunned for a moment. “I thought he chatted with me because of the food.”

“Is that all you think about? The food?” Melissa looked at Vivian as if Vivian was such a fool

Vivian pouted and looked confused. She did not understand what Melissa was saying at all. “Melissa, don't keep me in suspense. What on earth is Mr. Lynn thinking?”

“You have been in the entertainment industry for so long. You should be able to read people’s unspoken words. Why are you still so simple?” Melissa shook her head.

“What did you eat?” Murray asked.

Melissa closed her eyes leisurely in Murray's arms. Murray slowly rubbed Melissa’s stomach with his warm palm. It made Melissa feel less uncomfortable.

“We ate at a food stall,” Melissa said lightly.

Murray did not expect to hear that answer. His movements paused for a moment.

Sensing that, Melissa opened her eyes and told Murray everything that had happened today.

Hearing that, Murray could not help but laugh, “I have heard of Marvin. He is indeed a strange man.”

It seemed that Melissa came up with something. She sat up from Murray’s arms and wrapped her arms around his E neck.

“Murray, what will you do if I go to the mountains for a movie and don't contact you for three months?”

Hearing that, Murray furrowed his long eyebrows slightly. He glanced at Melissa and continued to rub her stomach. “That’s not going to happen.”

Murray sounded very resolute.

“Why?” Melissa replied in confusion. She didn’t immediately understand what Murray meant.

“I will not agree,” Murray said seriously. He would not let Melissa cut off contact with him for three months.

“I thought it was tiring to be the boss of the company. But now, acting seems to be a much more tiring job.” Melissa supported her face. Stars seemed to live fancy lives. But people didn't know what their real lives were.
