Chapter 828 Got trapped

“Did you hide my stuff, why did you do it, why did you take my stuff?” Mrs. Gibson accused Murray on the other end of the phone.

“If I didn’t take these things from you, there is no telling what you would do next. Probably come here to my home and try to ruin my life again,” Murray retorted.

“You ungrateful, disobedient brat. You’ll regret this.”Mrs. Gibson warned.

She knew that Murray couldn’t keep her away.

Mrs. Gibson hurried home after leaving her contact details with him.

Back home Mrs. Gibson quietly waited for news.

After waiting for a full week with no results, she was concerned.

Seeing someone walk in, she quickly stopped them and asked, “I want to ask how my visa is going?”

“We didn’t receive your application, did you make a mistake?” the man asked after checking inside.

Mrs. Gibson panicked and quickly explained to them, “There was a man standing at the door a week ago.. He said he could help me get a visa, and I gave him the money.”

“You must have been deceived. That man comes here every day with the purpose of defrauding people like you of their money. He doesn’t even have a work permit. How could he possibly apply for a visa for you?” the man explained and wondered how this woman could be so gullible.

Mrs. Gibson was still in disbelief, thinking that the staff was sent by Murray to deceive her.

“How could it be false? Are you mistaken?”

“The emergence of Adela almost destroyed Melissa’s company, and Murray almost got implicated. This was all caused by you.”

Mrs. Gibson didn’t believe him at all.

“I want to see Murray, I want to see him now.” Mrs. Gibson yelled angrily, “”You tell Murray I wanted to see him!”

“Mrs. Gibson, you clearly know that is impossible. Mr. Gibson will not see you.”

Mrs. Gibson threw the housekeeper out, and sat alone on the cold floor for three days.

She was defrauded of her last savings, and was now penniless.

And Adela had been hiding in the hotel for so long. She was hiding from Murray’s people.

However, fans and reporters were searching for her.

A knock came at the door and Adela look through the peep hole. She saw it was one of the staff from the front desk.

Adela opened the door with confidence and asked, “What is it?”

“I’m sorry, your room fee has expired today. Please leave by 12pm.” the staff member said politely.

“I was going to pay today to extend my stay,” Adela said.

“Sorry, we will not extend your stay. Please by gone by 12pm. Thank you,”.”
