“I’m resigning! That should settle my debt with the Riley family, right?” Shawna’s voice trembled with barely restrained anger.

“Dream on! The debt you and your mother owe to the Riley family can never be settled!” said a member of the Riley family and sneered. His face twisted with contempt.

“You two are just a worthless nobody and a b*stard child. Our family’s mercy in taking you in is the greatest blessing you’ll ever get. How could you possibly repay that?”

“Uncle, that’s crossing the line!” Shawna’s voice trembled with fury.

“Too far indeed. Someone needs to teach him some respect,” Dustin said coldly as he strode forward.
