Chapter 286 novel My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness

“My Liege, I’ve confirmed it. The Bloodveil Orchid is within the McCall family villa, located in Grayvale,” a Hell Guard said respectfully to Dustin at the security booth outside the Creative Arts Corporation building.

Yesterday’s tension at the Riley family villa ended on an oddly subdued note. Though Shawna remained suspicious, she chose not to press the matter.

Dustin had since resumed his unassuming role as a security guard.

The Bloodveil Orchid was an extra ingredient needed to make the antidote to Irene’s poisoning.

“The McCall family keeps a low profile, but they’re rumored to have ties with a top figure in Central Harbor…

“Jonathan McCall has been bedridden for years and relies on rare and potent herbs to cling to life. The Bloodveil Orchid is such a rare herb that is brought in specifically for his treatment.”

Dustin frowned.

Someone dependent on the flower to sustain his life would hardly give it up.

“Regardless, the flower must be secured,” Dustin said in a cold and calm voice.

The Bloodveil Orchid was exceptionally rare and difficult to locate, even for Hell Hall.

“My Liege, shall we infiltrate their villa and retrieve it stealthily?” the Hell Guard asked.

“Do you take the Hell Hall for common thieves?” Dustin’s tone turned sharp.

“I will pay them a visit personally.”

Diplomacy first, and force, only if necessary. Dustin was no paragon of righteousness. For him, results were all that mattered.

He dismissed the Hell Guard with a wave and went to request leave from Shawna.

“Leave? Sure, go ahead,” Shawna said simply.

With that, Dustin made his way to the McCall family villa.

The McCall family villa stood on the eastern edge of Grayvale. It was a grand and ancient villa brimming with history.

As Dustin approached, he found the villa’s entrance bustling with activity.

The entrance was surrounded by a crowd of wealthy individuals. Each announced their arrival with flair and importance.
