In the conference room of the Lotus Sect, Lord Barbenheim sat at the head of the table wearing a dark look.

On both sides were the higher-ups of the Lotus Sect and the prodigies who were participating in the martial arts competition.

When it came down to it, Lord Barbenheim was a lord. He was very influential. It was because they respected him that many of the martial artists had come.

Elijah and Timothy were present, and even Madison had been invited.

Other than Allison and Tyler, all the competing fighters were there.

“What can we do for you, Lord Barbenheim? Why have you gathered us here?” one of the martial artists asked with a small, polite smile.

“I asked you all here so late because I have something I need your help with. It’s nothing major,” Lord Barbenheim said solemnly.

“My Lord, you can’t be thinking of asking us to help you apprehend Dustin Fox, right?”

Several people looked uncomfortable.

Lord Barbenheim had come to the Lotus Sect with the sole purpose of making trouble for Dustin. It was not a secret that Dustin had killed his youngest son, Arthur. Thus, it was not a blind leap to assume as much.

“You’re exactly right!” Lord Barbenheim said.

Those present there all reacted differently.

The martial artists were all prideful people. Because of how powerful Dustin seemed to be, many of them wanted to try and fight him.

However, Dustin was not participating in the martial arts competition. If they challenged him, they would be wasting their efforts even if they beat him. That would affect their performance in the competition. As such, no one had challenged Dustin.

“I would like you to use the excuse of learning from each other to challenge him. Injure Dustin while sparring. That way, he will be easy to apprehend,” Lord Barbenheim said.

Lord Barbenheim’s private army could not enter the Lotus Sect. Also, he did not have the confidence to subdue Dustin on his own.

He had thought thoroughly about this. After everything that had happened, he guessed that Dustin had far surpassed the geniuses of his generation. If the prodigies present challenged Dustin one-on-one, none of them were able to defeat him.
