“Mr. Fox, the leader of the Lotus Sect wishes to speak with you,” came the shout of a member of the Lotus Sect outside Dustin’s room.
Dustin opened the door and frowned at the person.
“Why is your leader asking to see me?” he asked calmly.
The Lotus Sect worked for Elijah. It did not mean anything good when its leader was asking to speak to Dustin.
“Our leader said that your late adoptive father asked him to pass on a message to you. He hopes that you will see him alone,” the person said.
Dustin raised an eyebrow.
They wanted him to go alone, huh?
There was no way the Lotus Sect did not have some kind of plot planned against him.
The Wyatt sisters had used the same excuse on him before and claimed that Lucas had left him something.
“Lead the way.”
Dustin knew this was a trap, but he did not care.
Or rather, he was bored. So, he was not averse to finding out what schemes Elijah had hatched this time.
“Master, I will come with you.” Tyler wanted to follow, but Dustin waved him off.
“Let me stretch my legs a bit,” he said indifferently.
Tyler had no choice but to nod.
Dustin followed the members of the Lotus Sect and headed to their conference room.
When he got close, Dustin raised an eyebrow and smiled.
With his skills, he was able to tell just how many people were inside that room the moment he approached it.
It did not matter how lightly they tried to breathe. It was impossible to escape Dustin’s keen senses.
Elijah and Timothy stood at the door to the conference room, sneering as they watched Dustin walk over.
“Dustin, I didn’t think you would really dare to come here,” Elijah said with narrowed eyes.
“Come in and show us just how great you are! Stop hiding behind others, you coward!”
Elijah and Timothy both thought that Dustin was not actually very powerful. At best, he was an Intermediate Martial Saint. Yet, he acted as if he were an Apex Martial Saint. It irked them to no end.
There were so many elite fighters gathered here today, so it was pretty much guaranteed that Dustin was not walking back out.
“Dustin, I’ve always wanted to see just how powerful you are. It’s a shame that you always run away. Are you that afraid of me?” Elijah asked tauntingly.
He had wanted to fight Dustin many times, but he always failed to do so.
“I think he’s not powerful at all. He’s just been full air,” Timothy said with a smile. “He doesn’t even dare to walk through the door. There’s your proof right there.”
Elijah and Timothy provoked and mocked Dustin, and their laughter was loud and arrogant.
Dustin’s gaze turned icy.
“I shall fulfill your wish, then.”
Dustin raised an arm and swung it down with great force.
