“What the hell did you do, Gavin? What’s going on? I thought you had connections!” Keller yelled. He was extremely unhappy.

“I don’t know what happened either, Mr. Douglas.” Gavin looked devastated.

“I used to have a good relationship with the police captain. I don’t know why he turned against me today.”

“Let’s see if this police captain can withstand the pressure I’ll put on him from above!” Keller’s face turned icy.

“I want to use my right to a phone call!” he yelled at a guard.

The police captain only chuckled disdainfully at Keller’s threat.

“You don’t have the power to have me fired. You should worry about yourself right now. You think your family will help you settle this issue? Ha! If they find out what you did, you’d be lucky enough to not get disowned!”

The police captain’s words stunned Keller.

“What do you mean? What did I do?” he asked quickly.

“You have offended a very important person!” the police captain said coldly.

“Even the head of the police has to scrape and bow to this person, but you dared to provoke him.”

Everyone looked terrified. They did not understand what the police captain meant.
