Wave after wave of men surged toward the bar. Each looked more menacing than the last.

The other patrons had already backed away to keep their distance. No one dared to get too close.

Yet not a single person left the place. They were all waiting to watch the show. After all, it was the first time anything this dramatic had happened at Euphoria Lounge.

This was the first time someone had dared to openly challenge the Mabry family in Hattan.

“That guy’s the one causing trouble at the lounge?” In no time, more than thirty men had gathered around the counter. They formed a tight circle around Dustin. The sheer pressure of their cold and piercing stares would have made an ordinary man’s legs turn to jelly.

“Dustin, maybe we should leave for now?” Devina was intimidated by the big group.

She knew Dustin was strong, but taking on so many people alone was an entirely different story.

No one here recognized him, and he had come alone. If things went south, there was no telling how badly he would suffer.

“I’d like to see just how powerful this place really is.” Dustin, however, remained motionless.

Devina’s face tightened with concern. She felt that he was being reckless.

After all, even the strongest outsider could not afford to challenge the local kingpins. Charging head-on was the worst possible choice.

“Ha! Let’s see how tough you really are this time!” Brad had been helped to a chair. He sat on a chair and sneered as his gaze fixed on Dustin in amusement.

“You think you’re a fighter? Let’s see you take on twenty men. What about thirty? Fifty? You think you’re some kind of god, you son of a b*tch?” His face contorted in rage again. “I’ll have your arms and legs broken, and you’ll be crawling out of here like a damn stray dog!”

With so many men at his back, Brad had no fear. He was brimming with arrogance.

Dustin let out a faint chuckle. He rose from his seat and strode toward Brad and stopped right in front of him.

“What? Are you here to beg for mercy?” Brad’s voice was dripping with mockery. “You’re finally getting smart! Too bad! I’m not interested. You’re still going to get your bones shattered. You’re still going to crawl out of here.”

His laugh was grating, and his expression was disgusting.

More than thirty men charged at once, and they were ready to tear Dustin apart.

“Stop!”

Suddenly, a thunderous voice boomed from outside.

The commanding tone froze everyone in their tracks. Heads turned toward the source of the voice.

“What are you guys doing? Gang fighting?” A tall man was flanked by a group of men. He strode in with a dark expression.

The moment the lounge staff saw him, their faces changed.

“Just great! Perfect timing,” Brad muttered in frustration that was evident on his face.

“Captain Hamilton, we weren’t causing trouble. Someone barged in and started creating trouble in our lounge,” the bartender said as he stepped forward with a smile. “That’s him right there. Not only did he start the fight, but he also assaulted my friend and several of our employees. They are all badly injured.”
