The glass shattered and the liquor splashed across the floor.

“Get this drunk out of here and entertain my guests properly,” Gus ordered icily. “If you defy me again, you’re fired.”

The manager grimaced. He felt torn.

“Mr. Gus, I really can’t…” He sighed and was prepared to explain everything.

“How dare you smash my drink?” Dustin’s face was cold as his gaze locked onto Gus in rage.

“Uh-huh.” Gus turned to Dustin with a face of pure disdain.

“Yeah, I did. So what?” His tone was condescending as his irritation grew.

“Get him out of here. I don’t want to see him in this lounge ever again!” Gus barked.

Several men stepped forward at his command but none of them moved. A strange hesitation filled the air.

At this point, no one in the lounge dared to even touch Dustin.

“What’s wrong with you people? Do you want to lose your jobs too?” Gus roared in a rage when he saw his men, who stood frozen on the spot.

“Gus, this is quite embarrassing, don’t you think? Your own men won’t even listen to you.” One of the heirs chuckled mockingly.

Gus’s face burned red.

“Are you deaf? Can you not hear me?” he thundered.

“My drink…” Meanwhile, Dustin wobbled slightly as he reached down as if hoping to salvage something.

“Get lost!” Gus, who was in a rage, aimed a vicious kick at Dustin.

In that instance, Dustin, who was half-drunk, suddenly paused and swung his fish forward without even looking up.

“Mr. Gus… I was about to tell you something. Our lounge will be shut down tomorrow…” the manager said with a grim face.

“What did you just say?” Gus’s shock momentarily eclipsed his pain.

“Shut down? Why? How is that possible?”

“It was my fault, I guess. I didn’t select and manage my employees properly. One of our bartenders colluded with someone and tried to spike a woman’s drink. Things got out of hand, and we pissed off someone really scary. It ended up involving someone from the higher-ups, and Director Bailey called us personally. I begged them with all I could, but it didn’t work. They will be shutting down Euphoria Lounge tomorrow…” The manager swallowed hard.

Gus’s expression darkened further.

Euphoria Lounge was one of the Mabry family’s profitable businesses. It was one that he would soon inherit.

“Who did we piss off? Who has the power to shut us down?” Gus asked urgently.

“Him…” The manager raised a finger and pointed at Dustin, who was holding a broken bottle.
