At that moment, Bella was overwhelmed with shock and confusion. 

It was only Dustin… 

Why was Jack so terrified? 

“This has nothing to do with me! Bella arranged all of it. She called me here! I didn’t know a thing! She was the one who drugged Simone’s sister!” Jack was terrified, and he kept bowing as he explained everything to Dustin. 

Bella was furious at the sight. 

“Stop begging!” she snapped. “Jack Zimmer, you’re still the heir of the Zimmer family. It’s unbecoming of you to beg the discarded outcast of the Wyatt family!” 

Bella’s disdain was palpable. 

She was appalled that she had respected Jack enough as an opponent to try and buy him over with a 

woman. 

“Jack, you’re spineless!” Bella said coldly. 

Jack froze and glared at Bella. 

“Bella, you stupid woman!” he cried angrily. “You don’t even know the kind of person you’ve provoked!” 

Bella laughed when she heard that. She looked at Dustin in disgust. 

“He’s just a useless servant we kicked out of the Wyatt family. Only the Zimmer family would consider him a threat!” 

Bella felt a little embarrassed that Dustin had caught her, but she was not the tiniest bit afraid. 

She had felt only disdain and contempt toward Dustin for many years. She saw him as the lowest of the low and did not think much of him as a person. 

To Jack, Bella’s dismissal of Dustin seemed like the peak of idiocy. 

Bella was not afraid, but Jack was scared out of his wits. 

Dustin was the head of Hell Hall, the King of Hades himself! 

He was the ruler of the underground! 

At that moment, Jack felt immense regret. He should not have come to this meeting at all. 

Any bravery that Jack might have died right then and there. 

He was afraid that Dustin would wipe out the entire Zimmer family with just one word. 

“Get out!” Dustin spat out. 

Jack felt a bit of relief when he was allowed to go. He quickly scrambled to his feet and rushed toward the door as he still trembled in fear. He looked like he was running for his life.

“Bella, I’ll settle scores with you later!” he said viciously as he passed Bella on the way to the door. 

Bella was livid. 

Once Jack escaped, Dustin regarded Bella with an icy gaze. 

Bella met his eyes without fear.
