“Great! We’ll wait for you.” Sera smiled and then forcefully dragged Harmony into the lobby. When Reuben came over from the elevator, he felt his heart skip a huge beat. Looking at the slender and beautiful figure under the light, he felt guilty yet helpless. While he loved Harmony, he had chosen to betray his love for his ambition and resources.

“Harmony, why are you here?” he asked softly.

“Harmony, be good and go upstairs with Reuben,” Sera persuaded while gently pushing Harmony.

On the other hand, she pushed aside her pride just to exact full retaliation against her betrayer. She smiled and nodded. “Yes. I willingly offered myself to him. So, what? Why do you even care?”

Later, a ding was heard as the elevator arrived on their floor. As this was a seven-star hotel with top-notch elevators, it only took them seconds to reach their destination.

As she was about to get out, he grabbed her hand. Annoyed, she quickly pulled away, scolding, “Don’t touch me. You disgust me.”
