Quinn's POV
Panting loudly, I spit out some of his blood from my mouth as Terrance stalked my movements. I managed to slow him down, by inflicting multiple wounds on his paws and right eye.
He looked ready to pounce on me, but at the same time he was hesitant.
I have to admit, for an ordinary wolf, his skills were stronger than any I've ever met. Kind of puzzles me how an Alpha this well trained would need another packs help in defeating rogues but this isn't the time to worry about that.
I growled loudly, bekoning him to make his move. He placed a pretty good bite on my leg, which momentarily slowed me down a bit as well, but having Alpha blood speeds up my healing, something he fortunately lacks.
"Quinn!" I heard a voice yell and I turned my head to see my mate pushing her way through the crowd to come up front, alongside with my sister. Looking into her eyes, I saw the fear in them and it slightly made me feel bad.
"Be careful." She mouthed to me adding a weak smile at the end and I briefly nodded.
I felt my Wolf's joy and I also was a bit happy that she at least cared and wanted me to make it out of this alive.
Maybe I did make a mistake...
A burst of pain shot through my side as I felt Terrance's teeth on my front leg, his teeth grazing my bone.
Rayne's painful scream filled the air as i I saw her fall to her knees in pain.
My pain.
My wolf was clawing to go comfort our mate but I had to make him hold back.
We had to finish this.
We had to make this right.
For Rayne.
"Quinn stop!" She yelled as my sister helped her up.
Terrance still had his mouth locked on my leg, digging deeper and deeper with his teeth, causing a lot of blood to spill from my wound.
I needed to shift soon before my broken bone healed itself in my wolf for, that would be extremely painful to fix back when I shift back to my human form.
Opening my mouth as wide as I could, I brought my jaws down onto Terrance's neck and locked down as hard as my strength would allow me as I rapidly lost blood. Swiftly, I bit out a chunk of his neck and spit it onto the ground.
His teeth left the wound on my leg, making me wince slightly internally. Terrance walked around, wobbling on his paws before he fell to the ground, weezing for breath.
I took slow and cautious steps towards him.
If he didn't bow down and give up the pack as I was giving him his only chance to come out of this alive, then I will make his death as quick as possible. Although the bastard deserved to suffer, I wanted this to be over with.
