I held my phone and called Steve to confirm, “Are they not scammers? How could I possibly be selected as an outstanding youth?”

I gave him a playful glare, my face turning red again. 

“What do you want to eat?” We walked out of the company’s entrance, and he slipped my hand into the pocket of his jacket. 

I wasn’t very hungry at the time and suggested, “Let’s grab something casual around your office, and maybe we can watch a movie later?” 

Steve was very accommodating, pointing to a restaurant across the street. “How about that place? The interior is quite unique, and they have a coffee that tastes great. I think you’ll like it.”
