Is there something happening that you are hiding from us, the Armstrong family? You shouldn't forget that I am his father-in-law, so if there's anything, you need to tell me."

Smiling, Kian nodded understandingly and poured a glass of water for Brody.

Brody remained alone in the office until lunchtime approached, and Ayan had yet to appear. Anxious, Brody stood up and walked to the door. The assistant noticed the office door opening and also approached.

Apologizing, the assistant explained, "I'm sorry, Mr. Armstrong. Mr. Simpson and Mr. Reid left for an important meeting. Would you like me to order you a meal? You can have lunch first, and then you can talk with Mr. Simpson in the afternoon when he returns."

Brody nodded in annoyance, "Fine."

The assistant then asked, "Mr. Reid, aren't you leaving? What about Mr. Armstrong..."

"I have more important matters to attend to. You know what to do regarding Mr. Armstrong," Kian said before leaving the building.

Unaware of Kian's departure, Brody continued to wait alone in the office. It wasn't until the afternoon that Ayan had yet to return. Feeling restless, Brody stood up and asked the assistant, "Where is Mr. Simpson?"

Apologizing, the assistant informed him, "Mr. Armstrong, I'm sorry. Mr. Simpson and Mr. Reid left for an important dinner. Shall I order you a meal? Mr. Simpson will return in the afternoon to talk with you."
