Chapter 1329: Celebration

"That's great, come on, let's have a toast to celebrate your clarity." Alicia's friends had a very positive outlook, causing Camille and Sienna to both give a thumbs up.

With Alicia next door during afternoon tea, Camille and Sienna quickly left after finishing their food.

Camille was not one to hold grudges, so since Alicia had figured things out, she wouldn't dwell on the past, especially since Alicia had already been punished. So, she wouldn't fuss over anything.

Exiting the café, Camille and Sienna headed straight to the parking lot to find their cars and prepare to go back to Franklin Bay.

But just as their car started moving, Sienna's phone rang.

Sienna asked Camille to help answer it, and on the other end was an unknown number. Camille said, "It's an unknown number."

Giving it a quick glance, Sienna said, "Let me take it."

It was a call from Hance City, so Sienna had no idea who it was.

Camille answered the call, and Sienna's voice came through, "Hello, who is this?"

A low, deep voice replied from the phone, "Sienna, it's me."

Camille and Sienna's eyes met, both momentarily surprised. Sienna didn't say anything but quickly pulled over the car, then took the phone from Camille and calmly asked, "What is it?"

Even through the phone, Sienna's indifference was palpable.

But Mario seemed unfazed, continuing in a gentle tone, "I haven't congratulated you on making it to the finals yet. Mom wants to have a meal with you to celebrate. When are you available?"

Sienna had thought that after speaking with Rex on the phone, Mario wouldn't invite her for a meal.

Even if Mrs. King wanted to celebrate with her, it should have been just the two of them having dinner.

But it turned out that Sienna had underestimated Mario. She had not expected him to act like the phone call with Rex hadn't happened at all.

Feeling somewhat helpless, her expression unusually cool, Sienna glanced at Camille for help. However, Camille was still on the call, so many things were inconvenient to discuss.

Camille simply glanced and gestured for Sienna to handle it, but Sienna replied, "What would you like to eat? I'll make the reservation!"

Sienna resigned herself to the situation, realizing she couldn't avoid this meal. If she couldn't avoid it, she might as well have control over the situation.

Sienna's acceptance momentarily surprised Mario, who then softly said, "Let's have this meal with just the three of us. Mom misses you. If Rex is there, Mom might feel uncomfortable. What do you think?"

"Okay," Sienna agreed quietly. The dinner was scheduled for that evening.

Sienna finalized the restaurant booking and informed Mario. The restaurant was owned by the Ward Group, and she had arranged a private room and selected the dishes in advance.

She had no idea how to handle things otherwise or act as if nothing had happened, as Mario did.

Seeing Sienna's sudden change in mood, Camille couldn't help but offer, "Do you want me to accompany you tonight?"

With a forced smile, Sienna declined, saying, "No need. Didn't you hear what he said? Just the three of us for dinner."

If Camille joined, it would lead to more meals that Sienna wasn't keen on. She preferred to minimize her interactions with Mario as much as possible.

Camille understood and reminded, "If anything comes up, let me know. And make sure to inform Rex about dinner too."

Sienna nodded, saying, "Sure, I'll tell him later."

The two returned to Franklin Bay together. It was still early, but Sienna wasn't in the mood for movies or food. She simply wanted to be alone.

After returning to her villa, Sienna called Rex to inform him about the dinner plans. He agreed but emphasized safety and asked her to call him after the meal, so he could pick her up.

Around six in the evening, Sienna headed to the restaurant. Mario and Mrs. King had not arrived yet.

Sienna waited in the private dining room for a while until Mario and Mrs. King finally arrived.
