The four clean individuals also made Kerry slightly startled. He thought Ayan would express himself more subtly, but he did not expect him to be so straightforward without any hesitation.

The two of them reached their mutual goal. As for the contract issue Kerry mentioned just now, he wanted to point it out, but Ayan refused.

Ayan said, "I want a Yin-Yang contract."

Since Mr. Tillery wanted to manipulate Ayan, then he should get what he wished for.

But it was just a contract, true or false, the real or fake distinction, that decision ultimately rested with Ayan.

Kerry agreed without any issues regarding this.

After chatting for a while, the two of them finally came out of the meeting room.

Daisy had been waiting by Kian's side the whole time, so she had not left. When she saw the meeting room door open, she immediately went up.

Daisy looked at Ayan, her face filled with admiration. "Yan, what did you talk about? Why did it take so long?"

Ayan casually replied, "Some work-related matters needed to be discussed with Mr. Kerry."

Daisy said, "Kerry is just the project manager. If you have anything to say, you can tell me directly. He will obey my orders completely."

Kerry stood on the side without saying anything, only speaking after Daisy finished, "Miss Daisy, Mr. Simpson and I have other matters to attend to. We'll leave first!!"

Finishing his words, Kerry nodded to Ayan and took the lead steps towards the elevator.

Ayan also nodded lightly, gazing blankly at Kerry's departure. A faint smile involuntarily formed on his lips. Before opening the door to the meeting room, he suggested something to Kerry. He did not expect Kerry to be so cooperative.

The interaction between Ayan and Kerry left Daisy somewhat puzzled. She stared blankly at Ayan, her face showing bewilderment. "Ayan, why are you smiling?"

"Nothing, Miss Daisy. Do you have any more matters to deal with? If not, please head back. Mr. Kerry is already prepared to take the elevator. I have things to attend to here, and I may not have time to arrange transportation for you."

With that said, Ayan bypassed Daisy and walked towards his office.

Daisy's face could not hide her embarrassment over such cold treatment. She pursed her lips, her eyes filled with disapproval.

But what could she do? Nothing at all.

Daisy could only catch up to Kerry and take the same elevator down to leave the Simpson Group.

Throughout the journey, Kerry did not speak to her at all, which made Daisy feel it was highly unusual.

Daisy furrowed her brows slightly and glanced at Kerry. She noticed that he had closed his eyes as if he were sleeping. This reaction was something Daisy had never seen before.

She stared at Kerry with a bewildered expression, unknowingly fixating on him.

This continued until they arrived back at the hotel entrance. Once the car stopped, Kerry finally opened his eyes and got out of the car.

This action completely stunned Daisy. She wide-eyedly looked at Kerry and asked involuntarily, "Kerry, you weren't asleep?"

Kerry instinctively turned to look at Daisy and replied softly, "No, I wasn't asleep."

"Then why did you have your eyes closed when you weren't asleep just now?"

Daisy remained silent, but she felt extremely uncomfortable within.

Because when certain habits are formed and then suddenly changed, it becomes difficult to accept or adapt to the shift, causing severe discomfort and unease.

Daisy's mind started to dwell on what Kerry's intentions were. Was something amiss or had something happened?

Grace had left in the morning, but there had been no news from her till now. Camille could not reach out to ask because it might disrupt Grace's plans. Since Ayan had connections with the Armstrong family, she could only inquire from him.

Ayan replied, "Don't worry, everything is fine. It's all going smoothly."
