Chapter 266

Silently Carried By Her “Since Miss Fuller is here and Estie’s tree is already planted, you should bring them home, President Lawrence.”

Rosalie did not want to gain any attention from the people here, so she indifferently interrupted Wendy’s words.

Hearing this, Wendy stood up straight and looked at Byron with a smile on her face.

Her purpose for coming here today was to not let Byron be together with Rosalie. Now that this woman suggested it, it was exactly what she was hoping for.

Hearing what she had to say, the look in Byron’s eyes darkened. He frowned and glanced at her. “Miss Jacobs, you helped me and Estie plant the tree. I can’t just leave you guys here. There’s one more tree. Let’s plant it together.”

Rosalie frowned a little, wanting to reject.

Beside her, Estie timidly called out, “Aunt…” Hearing the little kid’s voice, Rosalie glanced back. Her heart ached a little when she saw the kid’s conflicted expression.

Obviously, the kid was still traumatized by the last time Wendy laid her hands on her. The little one was clearly still very afraid of her. If she could, Rosalie wanted to keep the little kid by her side too, but…

She had no relation with the kid whatsoever. There was no way around it even if she wanted to protect her.

“President Lawrence, since you said so, then I’d appreciate your help.” Rosalie agreed to it after a few moments of pause.

Byron’s gloomy expression slightly faded as he continued to pick up the shovel to fill in the  soil.

That shouldn’t be too hard for a grown up, nghi/ Whereas Estle is already sweating. Don’t  you see?”

Nox followed suit. “Didn’t you just apologize to Estie? Or did you not really mean it?” Wendy’s face turned green and white after being told off by the two fellas. She squeezed the palm of her hands and suppressed the rage in her heart. She must now leave Byron alone after what the two fellas said. She then turned toward Estie as she said with patience, “Estie, you must be tired, right? I brought some delicious food. Let me bring you a snack. How about that?”

Estie cowered a little. She kept her mouth shut and subconsciously raised her eyes to look at Rosalie.

Rosalie felt bad for the little kid, but she could not say anything. After all, Wendy was Byron’s marriage was already made known to the public. They also knew that Wendy was Estie’s future mother. She had no right to say anything about their relationship Seeing how the little kid stayed silent, Wendy raised the corner of her lips and reached out to take the kid into her embrace. Estie struggled for a bit, but the hug tightened. She could only bite her lip and silently get carried by her.

Byron saw how the little kid was so quiet and thought that she did not despise Wendy that much after all. Besides, Wendy would not dare do anything to her in front of Byron. Hence, he did not say a thing After planting the final tree, Rosalie again suggested that Byron bring both of them back. Byron agreed with a stern look.
