Chapter 334 Seek Justice For You

Wendy dared not look into her eyes, she just bit her lip and nodded.

Melody stood up suddenly, “Let’s go. I’ll take you to have your arm checked.”

After saying that, she was about to open the door and call Byron.

Wendy hurriedly grabbed her hand and stopped her. ” Aunt, don’t tell Byron. My relationship with Byron has finally eased up. If you force him, I’m afraid everything will backfire.”

Melody thought about it. After a few seconds, she felt what Wendy said was reasonable, so she nodded and agreed.

Wendy got off the bed and let Melody support her. The two left the ward together.

Byron got up and tried to keep up with them, but Melody glanced back at him. “I’ll take Wendy out to get some fresh air. You just go do what you want to do. Don’t feel obligated. I don’t expect you to be so meticulous.”

Byron was too lazy to bicker with his mother over these things. These days, taking care of Wendy was like an added task for him. Now that his mother said so, he felt even more relaxed. He nodded and sat back down.

Melody took Wendy to the orthopedics department and found Wendy’s attending doctor for an examination.

The result of the inspection made Melody’s expression change drastically.

“Miss Fuller, did you touch your injured arm recently? It seems that the injury has gotten worse.” The doctor looked at the film that was taken and frowned.

Wendy was about to answer, but Melody immediately asked, “Doctor, would an accidental bump cause the injury to worsen like this?”

The doctor shook her head.” It stands to reason that the external force that caused the secondary injury can’t be achieved by an accident. It seemed like she was intentionally hit by someone or something.”

In other words, what Wendy just said was a lie.

Melody’s face tensed, and she turned to look at Wendy. “Wendy, what’s going on? who did this to you?”

Wendy’s face was deeply troubled

There was no doubt that Wendy felt that her son’s heart was still set on that woman, and she was afraid that after he knew about it, he would blame her!

Melody felt distressed thinking of this young woman’s concerns. “Don’t worry, I’ll seek justice for you!”

As she spoke, she was about to leave the doctor’s office.

Wendy hurriedly followed. “Aunt, you’ve misunderstood. What happened between Miss Jacobs and me was just an accident. She wanted to accompany me for an inspection, but I said it was

fine, so she left.”

Melody had deep prejudice toward Rosalie Jacobs, so how could she believe such a statement? she just thought that Wendy was too kind, so she turned around and patted Wendy’s hand. “Not a word more. Your arm still needs rest. Go back and lay down. I’ll see you tomorrow.”

After saying that, she strode away.

Looking at Aunt Melody’s back, Wendy’s eyes flashed a sinister look.
