Almost half an hour had passed when Leon finally called back.

Rosalie got on the phone almost as soon as the phone lit up and asked urgently, “How is it, Senior?”

Leon’s voice sounded a little dignified. “The conversation was going well but as soon as I mentioned your research institute, the other party’s attitude took a 180-degree turn.”

Hearing this, the look in Rosalie’s eyes darkened as the corners of her lips pulled into a bitter arc. “I understand. Sorry for troubling you. You don’t have to get involved in this matter again. I’ll figure out a way myself.”

She was afraid that if Leon helped her again, the other party would sense something fishy and target him along with her.

“I asked about it before. It was Lawrence Corporation who secretly relayed an ultimatum to all major medicinal materials suppliers in Coast City. If anyone dares to cooperate with you, they’re going against Lawrence Corporation,” Leon replied in a deep voice.

Upon hearing all this, Rosalie’s eyes flashed with shock.

Leon was silent for a few seconds and confirmed with her. “If so, do you already know who’s behind all this? I won’t get involved, but you should at least tell me if they’ll harm you.”

Rosalie thought for a few seconds and answered seriously, “The other party must be thinking of kicking me out of Coast city, hence why they aimed a the research institute.
