Chapter 397 Avoidance Was Not Possible

Rosalie would not tell him about her relationship with Byron of course.

Aside from that, however, she really had no reason to refuse a ride from Byron.

Rosalie agreed in the end after some deliberation, she slowed down and walked side by side Andrius.

They saw Byron not far away at a glance when they arrived at the gate of the parking lot.

The man was wearing a black trench coat and standing ramrod straight beside the car. He was looking in their direction and when he saw the person beside Andrius, his eyes seemed to darken a little.

“Why don’t you wait in the car? It’s so cold,” Andrius greeted.

Byron only replied, “Get in the car.”

His eyes swept across Rosalie after he said that. He then bowed and got into the car.

Rosalie had already been prepared to hitch a ride with him, but for some reason, she felt a little daunted the moment she saw Byron.

Right now, she was standing beside the car, unable to move.

Seeing her hesitation, Andrius urged, “Dr. Jacobs, get in the car quickly.”

Rosalie came back to his senses. Not wanting him to realize something was off, she nodded noncommittally before picking up her feet and getting into the passenger seat.

Now that she had to sit in the same car with Byron, she just wanted to avoid interacting with him as much as possible.

However, just as she lifted a foot, Andrius already opened the passenger’s door. He said to her, “It’d be too crowded in the back with US two adult males. Dr.

Jacobs, you can make do with Byron for a bit.”

Saying that, he bowed and got into the car.

For a moment, Rosalie was the only one left standing outside the car. she looked at the back seat, stuck.

Unexpectedly, Andrius suddenly piped up when the car passed the intersection, “I suddenly remember that I have something to do nearby, so just put me down here.”

Hearing this, Rosalie’s heart abruptly constricted.

This was still a long distance from her home. If Andrius gets off the car here, she would inevitably have to face Byron…

Thinking of this, Rosalie really wanted to get down here with Andrius.

It would seem too deliberate, however.

When she was hesitating, Andrius had already opened the door and gotten out of the car. He also did not forget to instruct Byron, “I will leave Dr. Jacobs to you, and make sure to bring her home safely.”

Byron nodded noncommittally.

Andrius smiled again and said to Rosalie, “Dr. Jacobs, remember to let me know when you get home so that I can inform my grandfather.” Rosalie agreed stiffly.

The door closed and the car started again slowly.
