Chapter 438 Take Care of Little Sister
Once she came back from the Quirke family’s house, the two little boys were already waiting at home.
Seeing Rosalie entering the door, the boys did not come up to her as usual but sat on the sofa, unusually deep in their thoughts.
Rosalie gave Nanny Lisa a puzzled look.
Lisa was helpless. “They’ve been this way since I went to pick them up at night.”
The two little boys were still playing with Little Estie, but they stopped laughing when they saw Nanny Lisa approach the kindergarten to pick them up.
During the journey back home, the two boys looked sullen, and they had not been the same until now.
Rosalie was originally full of excitement over the Lancer family’s free clinic, but her excitement had turned to worry now after seeing the boys acting unusually.
“What’s the matter today? Did you have an argument with other children?” Rosalie sat down beside the little boys and asked softly.
Hearing her voice, the little guys looked up at her dully, their faces full of disappointment.
Seeing the expressions of the little guys, Rosalie felt distressed for a while, “what happened? Can you please tell me?”
Nox asked her in a tearful manner, “Mommy, why didn’t you come to pick US up at night?”
Lucian pursed his lips as well and looked at her.
Rosalie could not help but be startled. “I… I had something to deal with tonight. The trouble at the research institute previously was solved by someone else. I had to thank them.”
After speaking, she asked again hesitantly, “Are you upset because I didn’t pick you up?”
The two little boys nodded.
It was rare for Mommy to send them off today, and they thought that Mommy would go back to pick them up at night.
He still remembered what Mommy had said before. After the domestic matters were settled, they would go abroad.
Then they would not be able to see Estie, and Estie would not be able to see Mommy.
Thinking of this, the little boy lowered his head sadly.
When she heard the little boy mention going abroad, Rosalie vaguely understood how they felt and patted his head soothingly. “Not yet, my dear. The plan to go abroad will be delayed for a while.”
The two boys’ eyes brightened. “Really? why?”
Rosalie smiled. “I have other things to do, so we still have to stay in Somerland. You have to take care of Little Estie in kindergarten.”
The little boys nodded vigorously, and the look of loss on their little faces disappeared.
As long as they are still in Somerland, little sister will still be able to see Mommy!
