Chapter 462 Funny Yet Gratifying

The night before the free clinic, Rosalie could not help but feel a little nervous.

After having her dinner, she went into the study early to review the materials that she had prepared in the past few days.

A while into it, there was a knock on the door.

Rosalie retrieved her gaze from the computer screen and raised her voice to answer. “Come in.”

After she spoke, she saw the two little guys push open the study door. They came in with a smile.

Lucian was holding a cup of tea in his hands, while Nox was holding a slice of cake.

“Thanks, sweethearts.” Seeing the little guys placing the things beside her hands, Rosalie smiled as she caressed their heads.

The little guys smiled like angels and stretched their heads to see the information on Rosalie’s computer at the same time.

When they were abroad, it could be said that they had grown up in the research institute. As they were in such an environment for a long time, they had some knowledge of this information. They knew what was simple and what was complicated.

When they saw the contents on Rosalie’s screen, the little guys quietly retrieved their gaze.

The stuff that Mommy was reading was too difficult. They could not understand it when they glanced at it.

“You can do this, Mommy! ” Nox encouraged Rosalie with his kiddy voice.

Hearing his words, Rosalie had a wide smile on her face. “Thanks, sweetheart. I can do it.”

On the side, Lucian behaved like a grown-up and exhorted his Mommy, “You mustn’t stay up too late, Mommy, since the free clinic tomorrow is very important, it might affect your performance if you don’t get a good rest.”

Rosalie smiled knowingly. “I know.”

The thought of tomorrow’s free clinic made her anticipate it, but at the same time, she was nervous.

Fortunately, she quickly adjusted her mood and drifted into slumber.

Early the next day, Rosalie woke up on time. As she opened the bedroom door, she saw the two of them again on her doorstep.

“Good morning, Mommy! ” The two little guys were wearing black suit overalls with a white shirt. Their bowl-cut hair made them look like little princes as they looked up to greet their mommy in sweet voices.

When she saw how they looked, Rosalie’s mood turned much better in an instant. The stress in her heart had now disappeared.

When she brought them downstairs for breakfast, they also caringly gave her some food. Before she headed off, they did not forget to cheer her on again.

Rosalie thought it was funny yet felt gratified.
