Byron noticed her discomfort, so his arms that held her tightened again.

Behind him, three little ones grabbed the hem of Byron’s shirt, and three pairs of eyes stared at the person in his arms.

They walked like this all the way to the nearby clinic, where Byron carefully put her on the chair.
