Rosalie was injured, so it was inconvenient for her to move around. After returning from the hotel, she had been recuperating at home. Most of the matters in the research institute were dealt with by Dr. Graham over the phone.

Rosalie laughed. “Then come what may.”

The two chatted about the cooperation for a while, and it was almost noon when they hung up the phone. Rosalie came out of the study and met Lisa who was looking for her everywhere.

“Miss Jacobs, your foot is still hurting. How did you go in? Why didn’t you call me?” Lisa fussed about it and helped her sit down at the dining table.

Rosalie felt a little guilty as she said that.

Then, she saw that Lisa was worried. “Why are you going out? Didn’t you tell the person you’re meeting that your foot is hurt? What can’t you talk about at home?”

Rosalie knew that Lisa was worried about her, and smiled to reassure her. “This is very important work. I must go out for a while. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of myself.”

Lisa was still worried. “Let me accompany you.” Rosalie quickly agreed.
